Two-thirds of educators teaching grades K-12 reported that school children, mostly of color, are scared and stressed about their future if Donald Trump becomes president, according to a recent Southern Poverty Law Center survey released Wednesday.

A common finding, SPLC reports, is that students of color worry about being deported if Trump wins the election. This anxiety resides particularly with Latino, Muslim and African-American students, even if they are legal U.S. citizens, the report cites. The worries relate to the Republican front-runner’s proposed anti-immigrant policies — such as building a wall on the U.S.-Mexico border and banning the entrance of all Muslims into the country. Trump has also called Mexicans “rapists” and did not immediately disavow the support of former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke and other white supremacists in a February interview with CNN’s Jake Tapper.

“My students are terrified of Donald Trump,” said one teacher from a middle school with a large population of African-American Muslims. “They think that if he’s elected, all black people will get sent back to Africa.”

I guess this vote really is about the children.

The ONLY reason this could possibly happen is if the left smear machine is telling bold lies that the gullible are too uneducated to believe. Once again, look how the left wants to divide this country along racial lines.

We should not select a president based on the irrational fears of children.

Sounds like these "children of color" are supremely ignorant to what Donald Trump is advocating for. I wonder how they came across so much bogus information? Maybe their people of color parents got some bad info from the people of color left-wing media?

Maybe if their parents and educators quit obsessing on race and fear mongering so much they wouldn't scare the children.

Because they have been lied to by no other than the party of faux outrage and pro-racial division.

I am really starting to think of progressive teachers as child abuse.

The survey, the non-profit social justice oriented organization admits, is not a scientific, random sampled poll. The open online survey conducted between March 23 to April 2 was sent to teachers that subscribed to SPLC’s Teaching Tolerance newsletter. SPLC also said the teachers who chose to respond to the survey are likely to be those who are most concerned about the effects of the election in their schools. Two thousand K-12 educators responded, generating more than 5,000 comments. About one-fifth of the comments mentioned Donald Trump, meanwhile less than 200 comments mentioned the names of the other presidential candidates.

    Sigh...

And why is it that they think that if elected Trump will send all black people to Africa?

i recall in the 1960's some people said theyvwerecafraid that LBJ will pass laws that will force Whitevpeople to gave to not only go to school with Colored people but that us White people will be girded to invite Colored people to dinner and maybe even share their homes with the Colorerds.

The Coloreds were all grug addicts, lazy, and they wanted to have White women.

    That is what was said.

Leave it to the race pimps at the Southern Poverty Law Center to demonize Trump and then put out a self selecting survey that complains Trump is scaring kids. This is how progressive liars operate and children have to be taught to fear someone. This is truly deplorable.

I'm guessing the people teaching these children are 100% morons as well as their parents, since Trump has not given any indication he is racist nor dislikes black people. He works with them. He employs them.

Now Hillary on the other hand jokes about hot sauce in her purse AND puts on a fake accent when talking to black people. She's also advocated for them her whole life yet has not made their lives any better. Who's the racist again?

LOLOLOL!!! How stupid, nobody is getting deported unless they're here illegally and get caught, which means they aren't abiding by the rules...

He said Mexico sends its worst over here. Illegals... Say it with me kids, ILLEGAL.

Sent BACK to Africa??? Poor dumbasses don't even realize they're American, not African. MSNBC never fails to disappoint.

    From your link:

"The survey, the non-profit social justice oriented organization admits, is not a scientific, random sampled poll. The open online survey conducted between March 23 to April 2 was sent to teachers that subscribed to SPLC’s Teaching Tolerance newsletter. "

In other words, its a fraud. Why don't you stop posting fraudulent BS, skip the bad propaganda. Your credibility is less than zero.

Never suggested that i just gave a link to one of those news letters on the topic. You are free to review more of them if you like..

If High school justice warrior educators are anything like their creed in college i can see where the information suggested in the OP is being taught.

Look what I found on that site...

Some indoctrination that a few of our resident posters were injected with. Love how the kit includes a guide that will help you plan HOW you'll teach.

The SPLC is the most well know Left Wing hate group in America.

All I can do is laugh in the face of anyone who takes their opinions seriously.

Wow... No wonder the majority of blacks get more and more racist, except for the ones that vote Republican, they get called sellouts and Uncle Toms.

Same here, but it's sad to know that this goes into certain segments of our education to brainwash the children of tomorrow. To know that there are actually "teachers" out there that would teach this to kids is absolutely repulsive.

Yes, it is up to CHILDREN to understand, Not adults to put it into understandable language.

    - - - Updated - - -

In other words you strip all dignity from all those that don't have YOUR approval for feeling persecuted? Like White guys?

    - - - Updated - - -

Is it POSSIBLE, that you guys have done a less than stellar job of portraying your agenda? Or is it everybody elses fault they don't LURVE it too?
