Report: Rosenstein Is About to Be Fired.....

From your article, "Kelly told associates Monday that Rosenstein had offered to resign Friday and he had accepted." This came from the White House. I don't believe anything coming from the White House regarding the Times story.

This is what Rosenstein actually said, and I regard Rosenstein as a better source for what Rosenstein said than the White House.

In a second statement released by the Justice Department Friday night, Rosenstein specifically addressed those suggestions and again touched on the reporting about the 25th Amendment. "I never pursued or authorized recording the President and any suggestion that I have ever advocated for the removal of the President is absolutely false," the deputy attorney general said. Neither the DOJ nor Rosenstein has said he resigned or wishes to. That's all coming from the White House.

Kelly once said this about a former staff secretary, "Rob Porter is a man of true integrity and honor and I can't say enough good things about him." Porter resigned in disgrace. He was a wife beater.

Do you think I will trust anything Kelly says? He is a Trump sycophant.

 

Yup, that's it. End of story. Today, Trump referred to his deputy A.G. as "Rod." They are buddies now.

At least until November 6.

 

Yup, the White House had to take back what they said earlier. That's what I have been talking about.

 

Lets not overdo it.....and stick with firing any Demos in a position of authority or even if they try and look important.

President Donald Trump said he’s looking forward to meeting with Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Thursday to discuss his future, after a person familiar with the matter said Rosenstein told Chief of Staff John Kelly that he was resigning.

Kelly and Rosenstein discussed the veteran prosecutor’s resignation late last week, and the White House accepted it and considered Rosenstein’s departure a done deal, the person said. A second person familiar with the matter said earlier Monday that Rosenstein had been expected to be gone from the job by day’s end.

But the second person now says Rosenstein is still the deputy attorney general and no formal resignation was tendered.

Trump didn’t answer a question about what may happen to Rosenstein.
