    Their pain is my joy.

It's just more of the same old moral and intellectual bankruptcy of the Left. Instead of doing something about their bad ideas and bad candidates they scream "Waaaaaaaaacist!" to the heavens and shake their little fists in impotent fury.

    Funny/pathetic

You just witnessed the Left's problem right there - they blame anyone and anything but their own bad policies for their losses. They must maintain the myth of their infallibility at all costs, because the last thing they will ever do is admit that they were wrong.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - self-awareness and introspection are not "progressive" traits. Neither is humility.

"For Democrats, the results on the nation’s single biggest day of voting until the midterms next year raised alarms that" just being anti-Trump and mindlessly repeating "Insurrection! Insurrection!" while gas prices skyrocket and store shelves empty, might be leaving the voters feeling a little empty.

"the wave of anti-Trump energy that carried them into power has curdled into apathy in a base that is tired of protesting and is largely back at brunch."

"the party’s motivation has been replaced by a sense of dissatisfaction with the state of a country that has, despite all of Mr. Biden’s campaign promises, not yet returned to a pre-Covid sense of normalcy."

Biden has been worthless on COVID and destructive in his pretense to a "mandate".

10/4/20 - Trump the Magnificent, No one vaccinated, deaths 705/day (7 day average)
10/4/21 - Biden the Demented, majority with at least partial immunity 1,776/day (7 day average)

    Interesting to hear.

I was in grade school during the Bush vs Gore election in 2000, and I remember as part of class we did something involving reading through a short policy write-up on both candidates, and after reading through it, I had more of a liking for Gore than Bush. It was the only time that I had ever felt more drawn towards a Democrat presidential candidate than a Republican one. It wasn't long after that moment that my views developed into supporting the Republican Party. I was hardcore for Bush in 2004 (still too young to vote). Today, I can't stand the guy.

I STILL wasn't old enough to vote in 2008 (but I would have voted for McCain though). At this point in time, I was a "Republican good, Democrat bad" person. Today, I can't stand McCain. In 2012, I could finally vote and voted "for" Romney (against Obama). At the time, I wished that Romney had more fight in him. Today, I realize why he didn't (he's a RINO).

In 2016, I initially thought that Trump's campaign attempt was a joke and I didn't take it seriously. As it progressed, I fell in love with his "fight", especially against the media propaganda. I still had doubts about him supporting conservative principles, so I voted for Ted Cruz in the primaries. I then voted "for" Trump (against Clinton) in the 2016 election. During the next four years, I fell in love with what Trump was doing and accomplishing and his fight for conservative principles. I was, for the first time ever, excited to vote FOR a candidate in 2020. I believe that the "election" was frauded away from Trump, and believe that FJB was purposefully installed.

Ever since around 2016-ish, I have stopped considering myself to be a Republican (and I cannot stand many Republican politicians). I consider myself a staunch conservative who wants to conserve the State and Federal constitutions and to conserve a free law-abiding country where people are not forced to wear masks against their will, forced to get injections against their will, forced into a "vaccine passport" system to participate in society, forced into being '2nd class citizens' for wishing to retain autonomy over their own bodies, what food they eat, what vehicles they drive, what energy sources they make use of, etc. etc....

What's funny is I would have considered you "the enemy" all those years ago, due to my party-line view of things... Today, I consider you to be an ally in the fight against tyranny. I am glad to have you on TEAM FREEDOM, Obama-voter!!! ;)

They BOTH got their votes out and the Republicans won, it was not a Dem lose because of voter turnout it was a lose on the ISSUES.

It's 2009 all over again, bro. They're so self-absorbed with themselves and their crazy ideas they're completely out of touch with the American public - again. The funny part is - and you may remember this - Chuck Schumer bleated an insincere mea culpa to voters after they handed Dems their asses in 2010, and there he is, in the exact same position, doing the exact same sh*t him and his party were doing 12 years ago - ignoring the American people and their priorities while they're huddled together behind closed doors in the Capitol trying to figure out how they can acquire more power and money for themselves. It's déjà vu all over again, and do they see the freight train that just ran over them just across the Potomac? No, they turn their backs on voters and double-down on repeating their mistakes. It's almost laughable how they repeatedly refuse to learn from their failure and keep trotting out the same old lame excuses and blame-shifting away from themselves. They've become cartoon characters living in their own little cartoon world. Repeating the same mistakes, expecting different results...:psychoitc:

RP pols and DP pols are thick as thieves because they are thieves.

“Politics in modern America has become a lucrative business, an industry that has less to do with policy and a lot more to do with accessing money and favors. … bills and regulations are often introduced not to affect policy change, but as vehicles for shaking down people for … money and favors. Indeed, the motive on both sides often has nothing to do with creating a “correct” policy but instead is often about maximizing profits.” EXTORTION, "How Politicians Extract Your money, Buy Votes, And Line Their Own Pockets, Peter Schweizer, HMO, NY, NY, 2013, p. 4.

True, but I hope every Dem across the land - most particularly the ones at the DNC - convinces themselves that they got their asses waxed in Virginia because of "turnout". 2022's blowout will make 2010 look like nothing.

It was a RECORD turnout on both sides, the moderates and independents made a RADICAL shift to Republicans. They lost on the issues. The Dems are in a panic.

doesn't change the facts, Republicans got a few more voters out in that election than Democrats did, just enough to win, barley, but enough

unfortunately Trump did not inject himself into the election, that tends to motivate Dems to get out and vote

of course dems got more votes in the other election

But, please, keep it in its proper perspective! This was ONE governorship in ONE state... we've got a long, hard struggle ahead of us before we can rid ourselves of enough of these America-hating, woke Democrat crudballs to GET OUR COUNTRY BACK....

Yes in an astonishing victory, McAuliffe was supposed to be a shoe in, a total upset victory. The Dems got the votes they were going to get out, but too many in the middle have rejected their policies and object to what they are doing in with the schools, with the economy, with taxes and just about every other issue.

They better learn if they are going to have a chance in the mid-terms and it SURE doesn't look that way, they are blaming it on WHITE SUPREMACY!!!!! And THAT will just turn off more voters to them.

That was to be a shoe for the Democrat, a popular former governor. And he was beaten by a total political novice running on the issues. The moderates had a 27 point swing from what I have read from +18 for Biden to +9 for Youngkin. If just HALF the rest of the states just show HALF that the Dems are in BIG trouble.

And they are just barely hanging on to New Jersey which was a sure thing for them 6 months ago.

And I don't see one Democrat leader saying WOW we need to do something different.

    Trump actively supported Youngkin.

Virginia voted blue in the presidential election...voted against Trump. So....does it make sense to have him stump there? Or even bring Trump into the conversation?

He let his supporters know full well he supported Youngkin and even did the election eve rally. Why are you making stuff up like McAuliffe did? Youngkin was getting even MORE votes than Trump in counties he won last year.

What color is that lipstick? Faux blue?

This was a stunning defeat for the party that still thinks Hillary and Abrams won and no excuses can mitigate that fact. And NJ is still up in the air it is so close in what was supposed to be a shoe-in.

Biden won Virginia by over 10 points.

Democrats just lost Virginia after White Women took a 15 point swing to the GOP. Dems dismiss that at their peril.

Democrats’ war on suburban women includes inflation-fueling reckless spending.
    Along with the empty shelves.
