Republican John Curtis has beat opponents Kathie Allen and Jim Bennett in Utah's 3rd District special election, CNN projects. Curtis will succeed Republican Jason Chaffetz, who left the House in June and now serves as a Fox News contributor. Curtis had been polling strongly in the general election race. An October 17 Salt Lake Tribune-Hinckley Institute of Politics survey showed he led the race by 27 points. In the Republican primary, Curtis distanced himself from President Donald Trump during a GOP candidate forum, according to NPR. But in an October Salt Lake Tribune op-ed, Curtis said he would be by Trump's side on issues where they align, but clarified that he "will not support any proposal that bullies or disrespects any human being." If Curtis, a proponent of tax reform, is sworn in swiftly he could plan a key role in tax cuts vote. Yet here was a Repub that distanced himself from Trump. Then said he would support Trump. He then would still go on to win by a Yuuuuge Margin. One so big that the Demos thought they better call Virginia the referendum on Trump. Naturally they wont want to talk about this election. Other than to say the Repubs were expected to win. Just like the Demos in Virginia and New Jersey. So when you see the leftness embellishing about their referendum on Trump. remind them of Georgia, S Carolina, and now Utah. Try and get that to filter in thru their grey dense matter. I know I know....damn near impossible task. I suggest mocking them like they do the Right. Then when they bring the disrespect. Give it back to them 10 fold.

If the Libertarian/Never Trumper wouldn't have been in it he would have scorched that Demo ass. The best part about it was......it happened while the Demos won what they were expected to with 2 other states. They were feeling reeeeeeal spiffy like talking about riding a wave.
