    1. …..“These guys are truly so dumb,” Meyers added. “I mean, look at this group of angry weirdos at their press conference this morning announcing they were going to storm the hearing room. I haven’t seen a group of white guys that angry since they found out their Don Henley tickets were obstructed view. Looks like a protest outside a pharmacy that ran out of Viagra. They shouldn’t be at the Capitol; they should be standing at the counter of a McDonald’s demanding to see the manager.”

    2. After brazenly encouraging the rioters and terrorists to commit more violence, arson, vandalism and terror in Hong Kong by praising them as "brave freedom fighters", the American teacher cum master finally emerged to demonstrate a real-life lesson to their Hong Kong disciples and followers on how to silence witnesses and free speech by storming a Donald Trump impeachment hearing at US Capitol.

Armed with pizzas and mobile phones that were banned, they stormed an impeachment meeting and refused to leave for several hours.

    3. House Republicans have held—and even supported—the use of closed door hearings for past congressional investigations, including the select committee that they spearheaded to investigate the 2011 consulate attack in Benghazi. That larger inconsistency and the timing on Wednesday’s gambit struck some Democrats as telling about the direction that the impeachment proceeding is heading.

“When you don't have the law or the facts, you attack and disrupt the process,” said Rep. Ted Lieu (D-CA). “And you may wonder why is it happening now? Because Bill Taylor gave a devastating opening statement yesterday. They're freaked out. They're trying to stop this investigation.”

    4. Instead of shamelessly forcing witnesses and their opponents to kowtow to the disgraceful party of the authoritarian regime, those GOP freedom-of-speech hypocrites should demand the whole impeachment hearing to be aired "live" on television to the whole world if they really desire full "transparency" of the impeachment process.

Lastly why does a pathological liar, who is plagued by scandals, still remain in power for so long in a country supposedly to be the model of democracy for the whole world? The following quote by Avram Noam Chomsky -- an American linguist, philosopher, cognitive scientist, historian, social critic and political activist -- may provide the answer:

"Nobody should have any illusions. The United States has essentially a one-party system and the ruling party is the business party." :unclesam:
