The US Deep State including the most if not all of Trump's cabinet, the military, the MSM and our "allies" were all demanding that strike after Trump announced a US withdrawal. Trump gave them what they wanted and tested the use of the B1 with escorts.

Once again proving that Trump is very ruthless, unpredictable and dangerous.

I think it proves that he is no different from obama, and bush, in that the permanent gov't of the US gets what it wants in foreign policy. Trump went from being against what we have done in syria, to joining in with the neocon crowd and trying to remain faithful to PNAC.

So far with the two gas attacks since trump was elected, when he said assad could stay there was a gas attack, blamed on assad. Then when trump said we were gonna pull out of syria, another gas attack.

So he if he makes another claim that benefits assad, you will get another gas attack. For assad really loves us being there and wants us to stay!! ha ha

What is amusing to me is the fact that the neocons here, don't need no stinkin' evidence, and if they get evidence that shows them to be disconnected from reality, of course they have to reject it. To me what they say here, is just evidence that some brains are broken. Not firing on all cylinders. And could not reason their way out of a wet, soggy, brown paper sack with big holes in it.

And of course these two western journalists if they do not confirm the official lie, they must be attacked and called liars. I am surprised the russian troll card is yet to be played, but perhaps it is too dog eared and faded out, given its prolific and common use.

I could post a video of that canadian journalist who spent quite some time in syria, but what she observed will only get some folks playing their games again, and calling her names too. Or accusing her of being a liar, or a russian troll. From the crowd that does not need no stinkin evidence. Unless it of course confirms what they believed even before a gas attack happens. ha ha.

It seems that assad acts to benefit his fight against radical muslims who want syria, consistently until it comes to a gas attack which will hurt his cause. Then he becomes irrational and uses gas when he knows what the potential outcome will be, which is not helping him at all.

It must be Freudian. He really wants syria turned over the the radicals and wants to be killed by them. This would explain why he always does what will insure more US involvement and more strikes against what is left of syria. At least this scenerio would make sense, unlike what he is accused of doing several times. What the neocons are pushing makes no sense and comes from cognitive dissonance, or more likely, just your run of the mill damned lies.

Best not tell him that the US is pulling out in May, for he might launch a stolen nuke against the US with a stolen ICBM. After all, this is how the neocons are demanded to think, no matter how illogical and irrational it is. They simply could not care less. ha ha

The "gas attack" in Syria provided a good excuse to test some of the weapons systems deployed for use against NK. That is all. ;-)

Is The Atlantic now a "butthurt RW" source? ;-)

“The Trump era has given rise to a vast alternative left-wing media infrastructure that operates largely out of the view of casual news consumers, but commands a massive audience and growing influence in liberal America. There are polemical podcasters and partisan click farms; wild-eyed conspiracists and cynical fabulists. Some traffic heavily in rumor and wage campaigns of misinformation; others are merely aggregators and commentators who have carved out a corner of the web for themselves. But taken together, they form a media universe where partisan hysteria is too easily stoked, and fake news can travel at the speed of light.”
THE ATLANTIC, How the Left Lost Its Mind, Polemicists, conspiracists, and outright fabulists are feeding an alternative media landscape—where the implausibility of a claim is no bar to its acceptance. MCKAY COPPINS JUL 2, 2017.

Well, at least that would make sense. ha ha. Call me a weird bird, but things have to be coherent and make sense, and I have always needed evidence to back up a claim made by my gov't that has proven it lies to its own citizens. This gov't does not think much of average americans. We are treated like mushrooms
, kept in the dark and fed bullsh*t. As a steady doubt. And obviously some here love the taste of bullsh*t, and eat it with great gusto and relish. Smacking their lips and they try to piss on our legs while claiming it is just a nice spring shower, april showers.

Pointing out some of us are eating BS and obviously love to consume it, and even if mentioned needing evidence makes one a russian troll. ha ha. Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right...(neocons) But it really is nice to be stuck in the middle, among the sane. A very good crowd to be around, the middle. For you would not have to worry about them lifting your wallet. haha For my grandpa always said, if a man will lie to you he will also steal from you.

I've read that the russian spokesman for the foreign affairs told today 23.04, the russian army found chlorine and smoke bombs made in Germany and the UK. And she mentioned that it came from Salisbury, lol what a claim.

I admit I was sceptical about the attack, but seeing this spinoff, expecially by the russians, i take it back. Was there a false flag staging or they found chlorine? Alot of misinformation...

Will update the post with the link of Maria zhe..whatever is her name briefing

All governments lie - a lot. Once you get past that given you can focus on reality.

Once the Russians went all goofy with the "UK did it" conspiracy meme they lost the PR war.
Where is SMERSH when Putin really needs it? ;-)

And that is the reality that for whatever reason some americans just cannot accept. Yet the fact is, all gov'ts lie to their own people. But we know politicians lie, and so why should we expect an honest gov't since it does not exist without man being in it?

I have noticed though that partisans are not consistent in believing what their gov't tells them. For if it helps their partisanship and tribe, then of course the gov't always tells us the truth. But if it hurts them, then gov't becomes a lying bastard. ha ha.

The Establishment indeed is dangerous ... to the long term economic security of the US and to our individual liberty.

Indeed Fox is part of the MSM clown show. I was surprised that Tucker went a little off script.

If this was a war where the US was directly invovled there would be no deviating from the Establishment narrative. Phil Donahue tried that and has never worked since. All Tucker did was basically say that the last chemical attack was not proven (when we bombed Syria the first time) and this one has not yet been proven either so it was really not that far off script.

Shows how conditioned we have become when even a small deviation from the Establishment narrative is "shocking".

True. Yet I have watched several clips since he has had that program that shows him to question many things about the russian conspiracy as well. I am not a watcher of his program though, just clips. Frankly I am surprised someone has not went after his advertisers, given he is questioning the official stories.

Anyways it is refreshing to see even this deviation from the status quo seen in MSM. They really love seeing the US go into war, killing people, and it is the only short reprieve trump gets from their attacks. ha ha. The only time some of those talking heads have said anything halfway decent about trump is when he attacks syria. Being trump, this is not a good thing since he seems to crave praise and pats on the back.

A political class in a rich powerful nation will always be corrupt. Ours is also addicted to war.
OTOH, Americans have noticed that we have not won a clear unambiguous victory that benefited the US in 75 years. Hence Trump.

Starting a major aggressive war is about the only thing I can think of that would turn much of Trump's base against him.
That may be why the corrupt bipartisan political class is urging him to do just that.

I saw a report over the weekend that samples had been taken from the area and sent for testing to Europe. The results from those tests should shed some light on what actually happened.

Oh goodie .. name calling and fallacy. Is that all you have ?

And what news network would that be ? This "credible and well known network". Do feel free to post a link to a "respectable Journalist" who has been to Douma and reported something different.

That demonize the source yet fail to provide a source of your own is the real joke here.

You want me to find an article from credible source that would confirm your OP?
That’s rich. Do you want me to bake you a cake and eat it for you too?

By the way, in college, if you ever attended one, any paper you write can be failed just based on credibility of your sources.
So, yeah, the source of your OP is garbage.

I said no such thing Mr. Strawman. Disingenuous ignorance is not an argument for much.

My goodness let me give you some cheese to go with that whine. I did go to college. In college I took some Philosophy Courses. In these courses I learned about logic, logical fallacy and what constitutes a valid argument.

Twirling around crying " not credible source, not credible source" is not an argument for anything other than your own ignorance with respect to what constitutes a valid argument.

Ok, here is the quote from credible source for you, who also happens to be a US person:
    Source: @Thedimon

Here, debate that. You can even quote it in your philosophy papers.
By the way, did you graduate? How do you like flipping them burgers?

LOL .. That you get mad because I pointed out your various logical fallacies is part of the reason why you remain .. well .. uneducated.

One does not have to go to College to get educated. One however does have to learn from their mistakes. If you can not accept valid correction you will continue to repeat the same mistakes over and over ... for the rest of your life.

It is human to make mistakes. The mark of a fool is one who does not correct his/her mistakes when shown to them.

What is truly pathetic is your attempt to denigrate those who choose Philosophy as their degree. This shows how much value you place in knowledge, logic and rational thought - and it shows in your posts.

Your assumption that I majored in Philosophy is false. Just because I took a few Philosophy classes does not mean I majored in Philosophy.

This is called a non sequitur (it does not follow). It does not follow that because someone took a few Philosophy classes in College that they are necessarily a Philosophy major.

In your previous posts you were guilty of Ad Hominem (Ad Hom). This is attacking the messenger rather than the message.

Now go forward and do now dwell in foolishness any longer.

Sunday evening I happened to catch NBC cover this story. It was amusing to watch MSM have to admit the obvious, that their previous position was in serious jeopardy.

No gas attacks, but the western powers absent Italy and Germany had to commit military aggression in unison.
