“Suffice to say that the person you see presiding over COVID-19 press conferences is the same one in the privacy of his office. He has little patience for facts or data that do not comport with his personal world view. Thus, the conversations are erratic and less than fully thoughtful.”

Cardillo said that unlike other presidents he has served under, Trump puts more weight on “the word of dictators like [Russian President] Vladimir Putin” than the U.S. intelligence community.

“Our current president bases his decisions on his instincts, and his instincts are based upon a personal value proposition — what’s in it for me?” Cardillo wrote."
    https://thehill.com/homenews/news/5...or-robert-cardillo-speaks-out-against-erratic

Add Cardillo's voice to Kelly's, McMaster's, Mattis', Tillerson's, and the others who have seen Putin's biggest fan up close, worked with him personally, and found him completely inadequate to the task of being prez.

In his op-ed Cardillo points out he has not registered with a political party and has always voted based on policy he agrees with. No doubt in anticipation of being labeled as part of the fictitious deep state.

Will it ever matter to Trumpleton's that these concerned patriots keep coming forward to warn the country about what they have witnessed? "One of them, former Department of Homeland Security chief of staff Miles Taylor, has made similar statements about briefing Trump, at one point saying advisors worried about his “mental acuity.”

Nope. They are deep in denial.

So......all you have is snark? What about the substance of what Cardillo has warned about? When you read this.............................................https://www.denverpost.com/2020/09/...-security-interests/....................don't you find Cardillo to be a credible person? Why discount what he wrote?

Exactly. Just more of the same old garbage.

Oh and new CDC number just out:

CDC recently updated estimated infection fatality rates for COVID. Here are the updated survival rates by age group:

    0-19: 99.997%
    20-49: 99.98%
    50-69: 99.5%
    70+: 94.6%

It appears your definition of garbage is anything that is critical of your Dear Leader. Because you offer absolutely nothing to refute what Cardillo and others have reported that they saw up close.

I saw a Sasquatch once. I swear. Take my word for it. Lots of people have. I am not alone. Something must be done now or else Sasquatches might take over the Pacific NW. Its time to act. Believe me!

That's good news. But what about any long term effects? Stay safe and wear your PPE and stay a save distance away from others. I recently lost a friend to Covid-19. He was 81 and healthy when he visited his family here in Puerto Rico. Thing is he knew his brother tested positive for the virus yet my friend went to visit his family against his wife's wishes. One week after arriving he was infected with Covid-19 passed away.

Equating first hand observations of Trump by multiple officials with sightings of Big Foot? Sad.

I think that's right. They would view it as humble contrition and give him points for coming clean...................for abject incompetence.

The difference being there is demonstrable evidence showing the truth of the observations about Trump. Like his distain for facts and his refusal to allow those facts to inform his opinions.

Your continued denial and disingenuous analogy is not working. Have you noticed?

Its working because its exactly the same. Based on opinions. No facts involved whatsoever in your OP, just interpretations. Could have been a bear or a tree stump, my interpretation was a sasquatch. Ive got a bunch of people to back me up. Maybe Ill even write an article about how we all need to be vigilant against a squatch running for office!

There are over 18 million American Citizens over 70 years of age. A 5% death rate. What, about 1.7 million American Citizens
at extreme risk. That's about the same number of Americans who have died in all the wars conducted by the US combined ... you're right, nothing
    to worry about.

And I would wager you're one of the people who crapped their pants over the 4 dead Americans at Benghazi ...

No, it's not. It is not an opinion to say Trump's belief on any number of issues is not based on fact.

"I have briefed him up close — and I have seen and felt the effect of his faults on our nation’s security. Out of respect for the confidential nature of Oval Office conversations, I will not provide details. Suffice to say that the person you see presiding over COVID-19 press conferences is the same one in the privacy of his office. He has little patience for facts or data that do not comport with his personal world view. Thus, the conversations are erratic and less than fully thoughtful."

The COVID press conferences to which he refers include Trump repeating lies about the federal response, making unsupported claims about hydroxychloroquine, making batshyte crazy claims about how to disinfect the human body, all despite having access to factual information in contradiction to Trump's expressed belief.

The bottom line here is you simply refuse to accept valid criticisms of Trump because once you do it opens the door for examining other valid criticisms............which opens the floodgates.
