Robin Williams should have campaigned for the office of President rather than .....

    Several years ago I wrote that I thought that Robin Williams could have made an ideal President of the USA.

    I've campaigned for public office three times myself and it gave me a sense of peace of mind that I at least attempted to inform people of what I felt was the central problem with our economy.

    For whatever reason that this happens a huge percentage of people who have one of those near death experiences report being asked a question along the line of ..."what did you do with your life that you can show me?"

    Well....my point is........ if you ever go into severe depression there are a lot of options better than suicide.......... initiating a campaign for POTUS is one of them....... especially if you are anywhere nearly as funny as Robin was?!

    I am actually quite awful at politicking but......… I enjoy it... and you might as well?!

    One of the major mistakes that I made back in my 2004 campaign..... was that I attempted to show how one of the few things that we Canadians did right for three decades..... was an idea that the people who drafted the British North America Act back in 1867 probably got from President Lincoln.

    Canadian voters tend to not be thrilled with the idea that we stole a good idea from an American..... so if I were you I would try to avoid that error?!

    Another serious error that I made back in 2004 was that I quoted a publication without properly checking the facts.... and now I am certain that the way I worded this was probably substantially incorrect.

    No worries!

    I'm Canadian.......... and it is improbable that my attempts to save New Orleans and Florida from the threat of rising ocean levels will result in my being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize and/or American citizenship any time soon??!!

    If I was American... I am 95% certain that I would vote for The Donald.....
    but I do have a few initiatives in mind that if Secretary Clinton came right out and supported them.....

    then I could well do something along the line of what I did in 2008 when I ended up casting my
    ballot for Green Party Leader Ms. Elizabeth May rather than local incumbent Mr. Peter Mackay.......
    who I consider to been an exceptional M. P., and Minister of Defence and Minister of Justice and
    Minister of Foreign Affairs.

    I sure hope that he decides to enter the Canadian Conservative Party leadership race.

    On a more practical level, I found that having sex with gorgeous young women helped a lot - as in life vs death, a lot.

    Yes... but there is something about our psychology that
    pressures us to want to accomplish something with our lives......
    No matter the source.... a significant percentage of near death experiencers who
    reported an out of the body experience.....
    stated that they reviewed their lives with a being of light who basically asked them.....
    "What did you do with your life that you can show me?"

    To me this indicates that we humans want to know, that we know that we know......
    that we accomplished something with our Time x Talents and abilities that =
    an improvement in life for other humans.....
    or for animals......

    .... and going on the campaign trail might have given Robin Williams hope that his
    remaining time on earth...... combined with his fame..... combined by his wit and humor.....
    could have a positive impact on the world.......

    ... and on a number of specific humans and animals.......

    Robin Williams was the prototypical Hollywood liberal. He cared so much about everyone - too bad he was looney as the March Hare. Makes you wonder why so many people take life advice from political liberals.

    In spite of all his many flaws.....
    and we are all flawed.....
    I do believe that if Robin Williams had chosen a different path in life and had been elected President in
    2008 he would have responded to the rise of ISIS in a more practical and common sense manner than
    President Obama did..........

    President Robin Williams could have saved millions of lives by knocking President Obama off his throne
    even before he got there..........

    Well there's always Sen. Al Franken for your consideration. He's a funny guy with voter appeal and he could have beaten Trump in the last election too.

    I am 99% certain that President Trump will even beat Oprah if she does decide to run.......
    America tends to give a new President two terms......
    because they know that it takes time for policies to work....

    The level of disappointment with President Obama was pretty high because
    Mr. Mitt Romney did come pretty close to beating him in 2012......

    transform how we look at economics....... and the money supply...... and
    how part of "Making America Great Again" needs to be accomplished.

    President Donald Trump and his team are going to have to bring their A game to beat Oprah......
    if she runs it will be close because yes........
    she is somewhere around a million times more likeable than Hillary but........

    ..... if she is willing the Democrats could well go with her again in 2024 and
    she would be very likely to become President then..........

    I'm not seeing how American colonies printing their own script kept beggars and thieves off the streets. I kind of like the gold standard myself.

    Any method that increases.....
    and nearly maximizes production..... tends to decrease inflation......
    and of course increases the amount of real wealth being traded......

    The productivity of Americans is what is really backing up the USA dollar and keeping it
    in the position still as the world number one currency for international trade.......
