Maybe we see it as an unneeded premature death when intelligence and leftist science has MANY alternatives to preventing unwanted pregnancies! You are a man of science, correct?
Only for a short time. Republicans will be pushing for a national ban if they gain control of the house and senate. You know they will.
Covid provided record profits for companies wielding tremendous political power. Believing they won't abuse power for this purpose for Covid, Donkey Pox, etc, is not reasonable.
I am discussing what the posters on this forum are doing. And yes, I am reading what the installed “majority” have ruled.
Go ahead, launch another “pandemic” outrage before midterms and see how far that gets you. I’m sure people are so eager to start masking up and dealing with that nonsense again.
Let's hope they do better than "our" generation of losers then.... And I hope I'm alive to see it... It's so nice to see so many other countries around the world led by women doing so well too... Damn, and I really thought COVID was going to be the turning point..
Had the Infallible RBG retired when she should have this would have never happened. This ruling will bear everlasting testimony to her hubris. I disagree with the ruling, too, but stacking the court is only going to cause more damage to this country. Two wrongs don't make a right....
Even if you claim that the fetus / zygote is fully self-aware sentient being (it isn’t), it is still the bodily autonomy of the female. Just because there is another being growing within her does not mean that her body is no longer hers.
The easy solution(well, easy in theory but hard in practice) is a Constitutional Amendment enshrining Abortion. https://www.ncsl.org/research/about-state-legislatures/amending-the-u-s-constitution.aspx The opportunity to accomplish this could've happened at any point, but especially during the Obama years. As difficult as it would be, it's much more preferable and manageable than court packing.
Has she retired under Obama Republicans would have just sat on two seats instead of one. I disagree about the court, they are making it up as they go to push their own agenda. I fully support expanding the court and retrying these laws since the new court has ruled precedent no longer exists.

If so, we'll be sure to hold Chucky responsible for insurrection against the judicial branch of the federal government.
Apparently California tax payers will be picking up the tab for travel and lodging for state subsidized abortions for women in other states.
