    From the holding:

    (c) For the stage subsequent to viability the State, in promoting its interest in the potentiality of human life, may, if it chooses, regulate, and even proscribe, abortion except where necessary, in appropriate medical judgment, for the preservation of the life or health of the mother. Pp. 163-164; 164-165.
    https://supreme.justia.com/cases/federal/us/410/113/

Given this, why does tor pro-choice crowd defend the decision to the point of absurdity?
Why does the pro-choice crowd not want this ruling overturned?

Normally I have you on ignore because you have proven yourself not worth my time, but...

the State, in promoting its interest in the potentiality of human life, may, if it chooses, regulate, and even proscribe, abortion except where necessary,

    pro·scribe
    prōˈskrīb/
    verb
verb: proscribe; 3rd person present: proscribes; past tense: proscribed; past participle: proscribed; gerund or present participle: proscribing
    forbid, especially by law.

    Hopefully that answers your question.

    (c) For the stage subsequent to viability the State,

As everyone who has read Roe knows, this refers to the 3rd trimester.
Nothing in my point changes - Roe allows the state to ban abortions.

Given this, why does the pro-choice crowd defend the decision to the point of absurdity?
Why does the pro-choice crowd not want this ruling overturned?

Viability refers to 23 weeks. After that states may place restrictions...

Gee, gosh , if what you say is true, looks like all the states want abortion to be legal....just like the majority of Americans...:)

"proscribe" means it can ban abortions.

In general, citizens should have the right to make personal medical decisions without government intervention based on bad science and religious brainwashing.

Why do you refuse to see all of the statement YOU posted, it includes, """(c) For the stage subsequent to viability the State,"""

Do you know what subsequent means? Doesn't look like it.

I do agree there should be NO laws on abortion whatsoever, they are unnecessary.

Then you should have said that RvW allows states to ban SOME abortions....but that would be silly since everyone knows that.

Because overturning it may lead to a ban on all abortions...not some.

There is no need for abortion laws if nosy control freak busybodies who have no life wouldn't try to force their phony "morals" on others...

RvW protects women from those perverts..
