Roger Stone posted a photo of Judge Amy Berman Jackson on his Instagram page that had a symbol next to her head that appeared to be crosshairs.

Roger Stone summoned to explain Instagram post about judge

    https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/roger-stone-summoned-explain-instagram-post-judge/story?id=61164935

A federal judge on Tuesday ordered Roger Stone, the political operative and former adviser to Donald Trump, to explain his since-deleted Instagram post on Monday in which he slammed the judge. He later issued an apology to her.

(MORE: Judge issues gag order in case of former Trump adviser Roger Stone )
Judge Amy Berman Jackson issued an order for Stone to return to U.S. District Court in Washington, D.C., on Thursday for a show cause hearing to explain why the conditions of his release and limited gag order "should not be modified or revoked in light of the posts on his Instagram account."

He apologized so according to the left that's all that needs to be done.

Or are there different rules for republicans?

Manafort went directly to Jail (he did NOT pass Go, he did NOT collect $200) after his witness intimidation allegation by Team Mueller. This is arguably a more damaging example.

I suspect it's 50/50 that Stone joins him on Thursday. Inexcusable to post HER picture on HIS Instagram... he could have made his useless and incorrect points (and begged for money from idiots who believe him) without that photo.

Irony that Stone mentioned Manafort's tampering in his own post?? Further irony that a moron indicted for witness tampering would indirectly threaten his own judge?? I'd throw him in jail as he's obviously too stupid to be on the outside. We'll see on Thursday.

It's like these guys WANT to get thrown in the pokey... It must be nicer in there than we think...

Similar to what Sarah Palin did to Gabby Giffords prior to her shooting.

Well, not exactly... Palin's map was just targeting districts, with names, no pictures... I don't blame Palin for the shooting in any way.... She's a dipstick, then and forever, but not responsible for that.

In Stone's example, this was her name, her picture, her role in his case and her role in other cases on his personal social media account...... WAY worse, IMHO...

And less than a week after his "Gag order"... I think they need to make that a LITERAL order.... GAG him and BAG him....

There's more to this photo that Stone posted than people realize. When you do a quick reverse Google image search the photo leads to websites like “Russia News Now” and a blog called “Americans for Innovation,” among others.

This is the photo as it appeared on a pro-Russian website. As you can see, next to the crosshairs are the words “corruption central” and Jackson is presented as a person doing the dirty work for Hillary Clinton and The Clinton Foundation. In the upper right corner of the image is a gas mask icon and the words “toxic attorney.”

Stone referenced “corruption central” in a later post. What some say are cross-hairs are in fact the logo of the organization that originally posted on a website called “American Intelligence Media”. American Intelligence Media does not hide what it is for: which is a White Nationalist website that is a hoax, disinformation, controlled opposition, and fake news website and Youtube channel.

This all leaves questions as to why is Roger Stone grabbing photos and other information from pro-Russia and White nationalist websites if he's been indicted for collusion with Russians?

Stone is nothing more than a RW Fever Swamp Parrot.

At this point, he has less credibility than a Trump-Worshipping 8chan Troll.

I agree with those who favor his bond being immediately revoked.

I had changed my post and had originally had 'Corruption Central' whose logo appears to the left of her head. While googling for information on Corruption Central the search led me to information on this group known as 'AIM' which is a pro-Russian social media website. 'Corruption Central' appears to be stamped on the photo by AIM. https://www.thenational.ae/world/eu...s-aim-at-macron-as-yellow-vests-rage-1.800550

    From Media/Fact Check:
Notes: American Intelligence Media (Aim4Truth) is a news and opinion website with a right wing bias in reporting, as most stories favor the right. Essentially, this is a conspiracy website that focuses heavily on false flag operations, 9-11 conspiracies, Chemtrails/Geoengineering and the New World Order. Often times, American Intelligence Media links to stories that will carry you to other conspiracy/questionable sources. Overall, this a very strong Conspiracy website that is right biased in reporting

AIM -American Intelligence Media portrays themselves as an American organization which it is not. Their actual 'aim' is to promote racial division, conspiracy theories and outright disgusting stories similar to the National Inquirer. They are not solely a White Nationalist organization as I had stated, nonetheless their objective is to stir up divisions based, on racial divisions though fears of brown people crossing our southern borders and bolster the argument for the need of Trumps wall. https://truthbits.blog/

AIM appears to be partnered with a blogspot called 'Americans for Innovation' which is neither American nor innovative.
    https://americans4innovation.blogspot.com/

In fact, it's not a White Nationalist pro-Russian social media website/blog it simply a conspiracy theory extremist site. Stone is now claiming that the photograph of Jackson had been posted by a "volunteer" who helps him with his social media accounts.

It doesnt seem very likely that the crosshairs were intended as a threat or call to action, but more likely rather an incidental logo on a conveniently accessible image. Would you agree?

I really can't say whether it was meant to represent the cross-hairs of a rifle or whether it was simply a logo used by Corruption Central. I found the Facebook page of Corruption Central and briefly looked around their page and didn't see the logo anywhere. I did see a couple of interesting things. One being a photo of Thomas Jefferson and a quote attributed to him posted by Corruption Central. Someone commented under the photo that it was a fraudulent quote attributed to Jefferson when in fact it was bogus as several pointed out.

This is really an excellent example of how Russian trolls operated. They appear to be an American website or Facebook account and display very pro-American images such as this one of Thomas Jefferson but they manipulated the quote to serve their interests.

    https://www.facebook.com/corruptioncentral/

"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not."

    I checked with the Monticello.org website and this quote is fraudulent. The actual Jefferson quote is;

"To take from one, because it is thought that his own industry and that of his fathers has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association, — the guarantee to every one of a free exercise of his industry, & the fruits acquired by it."

I guess Stone would have been better off just calling on conservatives to follow liberals around and harass them in public.

That is the standard for the left is it not?

Big difference. Kathy Griffin is an aging comedian whose career was in a downward spiral. Holding a mannequin of Trump's head as the inspiration and promo for her 23-show 'Laugh Your Head Off' comedy tour was a cheap stunt and Kathy Griffin paid a price for her thoughtless photo. There were months-long federal investigations. Death threats from enraged supporters of Trump. Threats against her 97-year-old mom. Placement on the no-fly and Interpol lists. Detention at airports. Canceled gigs. She was sincere in her many apologies, but not because it was in bad taste since her comedy has always been in bad taste, she apologized because the result of her thoughtless action killed her career entirely.

Roger Stone on the other hand has been criminally indicted by the Federal government for lying to Congress, obstruction of justice and witness tampering. There's no basis for comparing what Kathy Griffin did to the things that Roger Stone was indicted by a Grand Jury for doing, not even close.
