What do we really know about this guy outside of Banes Capital and the fact he's a Mormon?

Aren't we all making the same mistake we made with Barack? Not vetting his background thoroughly enough and once in office we find out just how much dirty laundry he really has.

Do we want to do that again?

Is wiki links and mittromney.com all the info we need to know on Mittens since he's on pace to suffocate Obama in Novemeber?

Or is there something we ALL need to know aobut before November?

What I'm worried about is that Rommey has given me no indication that he will govern for anyone else but the top 1% of the country - top 5% if he's feeling egalitarian. Since I'm not in the top 5%, I am seriously wondering whether he'd be a better President for me than Obama (who DOES have plenty of warts but who is actually more likely to address my concerns).

What is it you think you need to know?

His record as governor is pretty clear. Lots of information has come out about his time at Bain Capital and the SLC Olympics.

So far he appears, like Obama, not to have any dirty laundry.

But feel free to dig away.

Mitt Romney, Barack Obama, John McCain, George Walker Bush, William Jefferson Clinton, George Herbert Walker Bush, Gerald Ford, Richard Millhouse Nixon, Jimmy Carter, etc are ALL the same as far as I am concerned.
With that said, Mitt the Hit and Paul Ryan are the next occupants of the White House.

Yep, that little issue about all of these characters are either CFR members or Trilaterallists, bothers me too.

Oh, yes, besides his success as a businessman and his long history as a public servant.

Now, what did we know about Obama at this point? A heck of a lot less other than "Hope and Change".

Yes, that since the assasination of JFK the top of power of the USA must have been taken over (you can 'see' it, if you look at behaviour of all these presidents, they acted/act) All presidents since than are 'servants' of these 'masters'. You have to look at (European) history; remember the Roman empire, or former kings and their lackeys, and ofcourse NS Germany and the USSR, this taking over (ruling) is centuries old, now THIS (group of rulers/dominators) ended up in the USA (again, as in the 1700's) History is repeating once again. The only thing that has to happen is that people see what is really going on (that is that same history again) But in this world of television, media, politics people's minds are completely turned off this history (they planted terminology in people's minds and labeled them ideologically, all lined up and ready to cast their vote) They haven't got the slightest idea what is happening to them. History. When 9/11 happened the media showed one lady that said: "History". The details of history are never shown/explained to the people (ofcourse) Obama, Romney and Paul are three of a kind ideologically (all work for the same goal, getting as many as people on their side that are going to cast their vote, giving away their power)

There is no comparison with regard to what we know about Obama vs. Romney. We know really next to nothing about Obama, most of his records are sealed.

We do know that Romney is rich, paid a consistent 13% in taxes, ran a large corporation, presided over and saved the 2002 Winter Olympics from financial devastqation, has been familiar with politics since he was young (his father was governor of Michigan).

Romney was elected governor of Massachusetts in 2003. Attended Harverd Law School and Harvard Business School, received BOTH MBA and law degree. Married since 1969. Founded and was CEO of Bain Capital an investment firm whose mission was to save failing businesses.

There really is not comparison, Obama has 0 experience. Romney has a good foundation to be POTUS.

Define "long history as a public servant".

From all indications he has about 5-6 years as a public servant. That's not exactly a "long history"

    Explain.

Are you implying his executive decisions will have heavy Mormon leanings?

The "Mormon" church appears to be doing exceedingly well financially, while the U.S. economy in general is barely sputtering along.

Perhaps there is no better time to have someone intimately familiar with it's practices at the helm.

    Romney/Ryan 2012

They own their own banks, an entire state, a faithful cult following that turns large quantities of their income and time over to them willingly, have interests in many products they openly condemn (alcohol, soda pop, tobacco, etc...), and own a big chunk of Vegas. Greedy rich, supremacist hypocrites, who make money off of other peoples gullibility and decadence.

They better hope their God is a greedy, hypocritical, supremacist space alien who have the same common interests, and not the God from the Bible.

Don't get your hopes up. America did that with Obama/Biden in 2008. as I remember they both talked a good game too.

Lots of posters here have the same issue with trusting jews or muslims or blacks or mexicans

So you distrust Romney simply because of his religion and you ignore everything else about him?

If Romney gets in and leans heavily in favor of Mormon values for the country and seek to pass executive orders to get certain Mormon-friendly laws out on the books, will you be ok with that?

Things like Polygamy. Because as you know, IF he wins, he'll be promoting the Polygamist lifestyle as a default regardless, simply because he's a Mormon.

How will that sit with you and others like you?

Screwing/Marrying your wife and your wife's sister and your wife's sister's sister...what is that called?

Church president Brigham Young had 51 wives, and 56 children by 16 of those wives.

Church apostle ****r C. Kimball had 43 wives, and had 65 children by 17 different women

    Paranoia of the typical Paulbot?

LOL, you folks are comical (in a nutty kind of way). Completely willing to disregard America's nation security by closing all military bases around the globe, yet scared beneath the bed by a Mormon.

    hahahaha

...better watch out, might be a Mormon girl under there trying to throw something on you!
