If you undertake to eliminate the Fed,which is comprised of 12
astute banking experts, regionally, who vote on the raising, lowering
or no tinkering with overnight rates, than how are Interest rates going to
be established. How are banks able to decide what to charge credit
worthy customers in a fair, equitable manner.A procedure that is
universal. No winners or losers.Just Rates being the guideline.
Markets need stability. The Fed offers some degree of stability.
It's no where near as bad as guys like Ron Paul make it.
May I suggest Bob Woodward's Book about Alan Greenspan :

    Maestro

No, what we see is a long succession of people who are pretty much the puppets of banksters and warmongers, and who continuously consolidate power into the Executive branch. It's people like you that we wonder about as you vote for the same type over and over again no matter which party label he bears, and, each time, you all act like this time it's going to be different and most of those promises will be lived up to, etc.

    By the market.

Why does it have to be "fair and equitable"? That's a moral requirement, not an economic requirement. Is it the job of the economic central planners (AKA "banking experts" to whom you refer) to enforce monetary morality so you feel good about the fairness and equity of how banks charge interest rates? If that's the purpose of government when it comes to money, then it must be good for everything else.

Rhetorical garbage. People don't need your moral views imposed upon them.
You might as well be arguing that Ron Paul wants to bring down the state religion which would create instability in family life.

All well and good if yer education level taught you to operate in a vacuum.
It's like Jim Rogers suggested to Glenn Beck when the Sh!t hits the fan.
You better know more than one language.Like his Daughter who speaks
Mandarin fluently. In the least, she will be prepared to work in a Restaurant
in the capacity of maitre'd.It's known as preparedness and constant
watching over.it's what The Fed does and We the People haven't a clue.
Alan Greenspan spent his hours studying Inventories in order to determine
when certain sectors, say the Steel Industry was low on material, thereby
influencing everything from Car production to heavy machinery.
Those Industries may need to seasonally adjust their capacity to borrow
more heavily and thereby pass on whatever higher borrowing rate in
the form of products made. It's a cycle and never ending stream of
computations.Someone or agency has to make predictions and
decisions as to market flow and rates.
That is what The Fed does. They tinker in order to keep the economy running as smoothly as possible, hopefully.
The Prime rate and overnight loans establish that criteria.
    Ya Ron Paul knucklehead.

That would be Tinker with Rates. The art of fine tuning up or down
    25 ... 50 ... 75 ... basis points or a FULL 1%.

how's that smoothly as possible working out ?
Plus or minus a few trillion lent to insolvent banks to keep their stock holders's wildly leveraged private banks form imploding.

    Wake up man

Bernanke says that Congress shouldnt control monetary policy. The constitution says, congress should control the money...

I totally understand why you hate Ron Paul, it's mostly because he's a Constitutionalist and not a Socialist which you're used to by living in Mississippi. It's no secret and it's well known that Mississippi's politics operate in a Socialist fashion...the Socialist Beauracracy runs the Government, not the voting public, so therefore every politician that's ever been elected since Mississippi became an official part of the United States was "groomed & placed" in their positions to keep the status quo. there is no Middle-class to speak of, and even you agree with that. Either you're Rich by living off passed down old money or you're in abject poverty. there is no middle ground.. and that's how yall like it down there.

So I get it. Ron Paul is not your guy. but a huge groundswell of free-thinking voters disagree with you wholeheartedly.. he makes too much sense. and that's just the hardcore facts.

p.s.- congratulations on getting Haley Barbour out but that didn't change anything because the new guy Phil Bryant is just like him. if it wasn't for term limits Haley would still be the bane of your state. now you get to see Bryant win until term limits knock him out of the process.

Please. It's over. Anyone who has any interest in the FED, and has been here for longer than a month, know you and Iriemon are shills. At least change your names from time to time and pretend the FED has genuine support. Lazy.

i'm no shill, i'm not changing my name and you should stop making such looney assertions, i don't necessarily support the fed, i support telling the truth about it and all other things, you should try it some time
