Who would oppose a secure border? Let's see, the cost of illegal drugs will go up as will the cost to maintain a lawn care business. How's that for a start?

Yeah, and jobless rates would increase as the drug dealers would be without a job. And they are used to making big money, with little effort and are spoiled. Dropping down to a service sector job just won't get it!

Of course it is said that most of the bad drugs come in through official ports of entry. I guess we are not using the technology there to peer inside cars and trucks? The days of flying coke in to the US and dropping it from the airplane in places like rural Arkansas are long gone, I reckon. And with most coming in via our ports of entry, if we got better at catching most of it, that would drive up the smaller drug trafficking coming across parts of our southern border. Looking to the future seems to demand a barrier in certain strategic places. If one is rational, that is.

The radical left should understand that if climate change is real, man made, they should know enough about reality to ascertain that mass migration is one of the dangers of climate change, the earth getting warmer. This demands a wall as well. Common sense should demand it. Unless you just want to live for today and forget what the future could be, and probably will be.

 

When Border Patrol agents are taken out of the field to process tens of thousands of asylum seekers there will obviously be less apprehensions.

Wannabe undocumented Democrats are using a new tactic, claim asylum at the port or entry, be given a court date and then released into America's interior never showing up in court.

Not everyone can fly, swim or pole vault. You do realize that in populated areas like San Diego and El Paso, if there wasn't a wall then illegals could just scurry across the border, get lost in the city and no technology would stop them.

As soon as the asylum seeker doesn't show up in court he becomes an illegal alien and is ordered to be apprehended by ICE and deported.

Because California is a sanctuary state and the Democrats will protect illegal aliens from being apprehended by federal law enforcement.
