Who would oppose a secure border? Let's see, the cost of illegal drugs will go up as will the cost to maintain a lawn care business. How's that for a start?
That's an interesting statistic. Now get serious and tell us what percent of voters want a WALL. (Oooops. If you don't come back with that we who know what's going on will understand.)
It's just that a greater number of people think a wall is not going to be an effective tool to achieve that border security. All a wall does it re-route traffic.
The "resistance" and those still suffering from TDS along with illegal aliens who are registered to vote in California.
Excellent strategy. Armies on the battlefield use the same tactic to re-route the advance of the approaching enemy by using mine fields, etc to get the enemy in a crossfire.
Which is worthless when you can just fly over the wall or take a boat. You honestly think coyotes, who have made money for decades building tunnels and smuggling people through check points, are going to be deterred by a wall? Really?
Yes or you wouldn't see any opposition against the wall. Walls on the border work. Also just having Donald Trump inthe White House has been effective with fewer apprehensions at the border since he was elected.
Apprehensions are at the lowest levels in decades, yet our Assclown of a POTUS says it's a national emergency. LOL
Yeah, and jobless rates would increase as the drug dealers would be without a job. And they are used to making big money, with little effort and are spoiled. Dropping down to a service sector job just won't get it! Of course it is said that most of the bad drugs come in through official ports of entry. I guess we are not using the technology there to peer inside cars and trucks? The days of flying coke in to the US and dropping it from the airplane in places like rural Arkansas are long gone, I reckon. And with most coming in via our ports of entry, if we got better at catching most of it, that would drive up the smaller drug trafficking coming across parts of our southern border. Looking to the future seems to demand a barrier in certain strategic places. If one is rational, that is. The radical left should understand that if climate change is real, man made, they should know enough about reality to ascertain that mass migration is one of the dangers of climate change, the earth getting warmer. This demands a wall as well. Common sense should demand it. Unless you just want to live for today and forget what the future could be, and probably will be.
When Border Patrol agents are taken out of the field to process tens of thousands of asylum seekers there will obviously be less apprehensions. Wannabe undocumented Democrats are using a new tactic, claim asylum at the port or entry, be given a court date and then released into America's interior never showing up in court.
But swine flue was a national emergency ??? http://www.nbcnews.com/id/33459423/.../obama-declares-swine-flu-national-emergency/
Not everyone can fly, swim or pole vault. You do realize that in populated areas like San Diego and El Paso, if there wasn't a wall then illegals could just scurry across the border, get lost in the city and no technology would stop them.
At the time, yes. You see, the flu kills thousands of people every year. Asylum seekers don't. Thanks for playing.
DOJ: 26% of Federal Prisoners Are Aliens The Bureau of Prisons is responsible for the custody and care of federal inmates. As of December 2017, BOP has custody of 38,132 known or suspected aliens. This represents approximately 21 percent of the total BOP population — meaning that one in five BOP inmates is an alien. Of the 38,132 known or suspected aliens, approximately 66 percent were unlawfully present in the United States. ....................... Over 250,000 criminal aliens were booked in Texas local jails between June 2011 and April 2018. These individuals were charged with more than 663,000 offenses, including: 1,351 homicide charges 79,049 assault charges 18,685 burglary charges 79,900 drug charges 815 kidnapping charges 44,882 theft charges 50,777 obstructing police charges 4,292 robbery charges 7,156 sexual assault charges 9,938 weapons charges. https://cis.org/Huennekens/DOJ-26-Federal-Prisoners-Are-Aliens
As soon as the asylum seeker doesn't show up in court he becomes an illegal alien and is ordered to be apprehended by ICE and deported. Illegal aliens kill thousands every year in America and also kill cops. Why to the vast majority of asylum seekers take the longest route to California to claim asylum ? Because California is a sanctuary state and the Democrats will protect illegal aliens from being apprehended by federal law enforcement.
Where Trump won: Historic ICE funding, triple wall miles, killed ‘poison pills.’ He also reprogrammed several billions of dollars of funding outside his emergency declaration, immune from any court challenge.
