Guilani is obviously a part of this investigation so his part of these phone logs is fair game but I've not seen enough proof that Solomon (a journalist) is apart of anything other than he wrote a story. If two parties discuss something don't you have to get both parties consent before you release their part in the discussion?

If there is reason to believe one has committed a crime then their records can be gotten. Third parties have right to privacy obviously.
