Absolutely. Where to start? Youngs and Farrell useless, Lawrence got the ball once and made 3 metres before being subbed. The rest of the backs were just defending. No attack at all, just aimless kicking. 15 penalties! Need big changes or we'll be lucky to beat Italy. Changed my mind: keep them in the championship. Fire Jones.
CELEBRATING......HE'S PHUCKIN PISSED....... 38 friggin years ..............and sent him homeward tae THINK AGAIN!!!!!! SCOTLAND SCOTLAND
I'm not even going to blame Jones. England were terrible in every part of the game. Second best in the forwards, no ideas other than kick away possession in the backs. Penalty after penalty in open play. All credit to Scotland but England's players were a disgrace to the shirt. To think we've still got to play Wales, Ireland and France yet. 30% possession at Twickenham? That's just pathetic.
You deserve it mate. I hope your hangover isn't as bad as England's game. If I owned a decent shirt I'd put on my family tartan tie as a sign of respect. Maybe I'll just use it to hang myself. Yes, I have really got one.
Right then, Wales v Ireland. Hopefully we'll see some good running rugby and a few tries this time. Also, let's hope @The Scotsman DOESN'T HAVE TOO BAD A HEADACHE. Sorry, didn't mean to shout there. Here, have some soothing music to help you through your hangover.
Well, I missed 30 mins of the 2nd half as I had to go out into the blizzard to help build some shelter for the poor sheep but that was much more entertaining. A 14 man Ireland pushed Wales all the way. Turns out you can run with the ball in hand after all.
Still, the cricket's going OK, the Maple Leafs had an easy win and Leeds United are safely mid-table. Who cares about men with odd shaped balls running around a field anyway...
England player ratings. Itoje 3 'cos of the charge downs Rest of the forwards 0 Youngs -10 he was so bad Farrell -10 'cos he's a Northern tw*t as well as useless Daly -10 'cos played out of position and he's a public school tw*t May -10 'cos he dropped everything Rest of the backs 0 not their fault 'cos they never got the ball Jones - 100000 'cos he's both useless and Australian
I'm Irish now anyway. I'm applying for an Irish passport via my Irish grandmother so I can keep my EU citizenship and retire to my little house near Limoges without the hassle of begging permission. To be sure, to be sure.
England v Italy about to start. Should see a bit of running rugby today. Need 6 or 7 tries if England are going to show they can still win this Championship.
Yeah, much better but not great. Poor jack Willis, hope it's not too bad. Robson much better than Youngs, should start next time but won't. Watson, may looked sharp - which is easier when you actually get the ball. Farrell should go forth and multiply.
In order I cheer on England, Ireland, Scotland, Italy, France, Wales. Scotland looking good against the Welsh right now. Maybe a Grand Slam is a real possibility.
Watching England's final game of the Six Nation's Championship against Ireland. I'm starting to think that this England team has got some real problems. It's more than just a few poor games now. The England forwards in particular are struggling. Poor scrummaging, poor discipline resulting in too many penalties, too many turn over balls. Added to that the backs are making a lot of ball handling errors when they do decide to run the ball and kicking away possession too often when they don't. It's lucky this isn't a World Cup year. A lack of club rugby due to covid restrictions could explain a bit of the rustiness but that applies to all teams and doesn't seem to be causing others the same problems. They don't seem to have learned from the weaknesses that lost them the World Cup final against the South Africans. Very disappointing after the masterful display against the All Blacks in the 2019 quarter final and last year's ground out Six Nation's win. They appear to be going backwards.
Going to have to root for France tonight. I don't mind Wales winning the championship but a Welsh Grand Slam would be intolerable. Sorry Ronald.
