    Rush Limbaugh just announced on his program that he has advanced lung cancer and will be undergoing treatment. I wish him well and figured I'd start a discussion on the topic.

    What a shame. I wouldn't wish cancer on anyone.

    Love him or hate him, I've always gotten the impression he's about as much of a diehard patriot as a person can be. Prayers....

    Rush sounded pretty upbeat about his diagnosis and hopefully he can beat this but he has a tough row to hoe.

    Both my parents died of lung cancer, so I know what a terrible time is ahead for him. Poor guy.

    Politics don't matter here. It sucks to hear he has it, and it sucks worse to hear it is advanced. I wish the best for him and his loved ones. I'm sure he's built a lot of strong personal relationships, and I know those can make all of the difference when it comes to quality of life in advanced stages.

    I read it was advanced stage, and that is definitely not good. Just another reason why one should always get check ups every year.

We have it....World Health Organization did a massive world-wide study of second hand smoke and they found it has no impact at all. Zilch, zero, nada, and it was suppressed, you can't find it. We have it. We kept it. ... All this is, I mean this is pure bunk. This is, all of this is just a crock.... This is just -- it's all lies. It's what the left does. Lies about our light bulbs, lies about global warming, and now lies about this. All for the express purpose of ending up controlling people's lives.... Secondhand smoke is harmless.
