    Russia is beginning to show it might be ready finally to step up to the plate. The Russians should:

    -- stop apologizing for not recognizing the artificial boundaries of Ukraine and, as Putin hinted today, seek boundaries which better separate two mutually exclusive camps thrown together by Soviet administrative decisions to dilute the anti-Russian segments in western Ukraine
    -- declare that the current Ukrainian government poses a clear and imminent danger to Russia, giving it an ultimatum to take a non-aligned posture or being taken out, not by land invasion and occupation, but in the myriad other ways (from aerial bombardment to special operations) to bring regime change to Ukraine
    -- work closely with China and Iran, to checkmate any US/Western counter-measures, recognizing that if Iran is made untouchable, 90% of the world's energy supplies are within or in clear sight of Russia-Iran. The Russians should stop pushing the fraud aka JCPOA on Iran and, instead along, work with Iran and China to develop alternatives to the US controlled $ financial system
    -- begin recognizing where Israel sits in the larger geopolitical scheme: if Israel can be flipped (fat chance) fine, but as long as Israel's leverage and power is ultimately derived from its special relationship with the US, its clear what Russia's posture towards Israel should be

    This is, of course, a series of lies.

    the Ukraine has never threatened nuclear war with Russia.

    How in the world can anyone make such an ignorant statement?

    You know why that it impossible?

    Well, it's impossible because the Ukraine possesses ZERO nuclear weapons, that's why.

    Ukraine possessed the 3rd largest nuclear arsenal in the world after the breakup of the former Soviet Union. In 1994, Ukraine entered into an agreement with Russia, the USA, Nato and the world community that it would give ALL of its nuclear weapons to Russia in exchange for Russia recognizing its borders and never trying to change them.

    So, next time, do not spread propaganda, which in this case, is an out and out lie.

    Second, Ukraine is not begging for NATO membership. It wants to apply for NATO membership but is far from meeting all of the stringent requirements in order to be accepted into NATO. Had you taken time to actually read and learn, then you never would have written this malarkey.

    Third, the Minsk agreements were never signed by either side. So, that is just plain old moot.

    Fourth, every nation has the right to import weapons or advisors.

    Sorry, but history is not going to be on your side on this one.

    Learn to actually read for real facts and then discern. That would strengthen your "arguments".

    It’s time to rally around our president. Regardless of what we think of him (I certainly don’t like him), it looks like we are entering a period where our stupid partisan bickering needs to end for a time. Hopefully some good can come from this conflict in healing the deep divides we have here. We will need unity more than a dictatorship needs it.

    If the Ukrainians have been doing what you are so brazenly claimed that they have done, then surely you have lots of video evidence to back up your claim, amirite?

    And 100%, were Trump still our president and he were to start with these sanctions, I would have written what you have just written. It takes a big man with a strong spirit to write what you wrote.

    Putin and Lukaschenko have gravely underestimated Joe Biden and just as importantly, the more advance nature or our military might.

    Both will pay an enormous price for what they have done starting today. Both Rußland and Byelorußland will suffer greatly for this perfidy.

    Guaranteed this will not end well for the wannabe Soviets.
