"US intelligence officials assessed that Russia's military intelligence agency paid bounties to Taliban-linked militants to kill NATO troops in Afghanistan — which include American forces, according to a New York Times report on Friday.

The Trump administration, by comparison, has threatened Iran with massive retaliation for a single American's death and accused Iran of complicity in the deaths of 600 US troops in Iraq."

Trump has known about this since March, and done nothing. After his June phone call with Putin (which we learned about from the Russians) he pushed a couple issues important to Putin, like Russian getting back into the G7.

Oh, so this is like how the USA funded the Taliban while the Soviets were in Afganistan many years ago. Many years ago, but it's a role reversal. Well, anyway, the Taliban aren't going anywhere. They are getting funds to kill people.

Well if NYT published it, it MUST be true.

Funny sad how thoroughly indoctrinated we are.

THE FAKE NEWS TIMES IS RIGHT ON TIME

To stop the nuclear disarmament talks between Trump and Putin. Seems the liberals have their priorities right, after all getting Trump out of office has to be more important than nuclear obliteration?

Whatever's 'right' the News calls 'wrong'
and soon it'll come, it won't be long
when what goes 'up' will be the 'down'.
Then frown they will, when day is night,
and 'dark' will reign instead of 'light'. - Jeannette

On Facebook, Trump claimed he was not aware and nobody told him, VP, or chief of staff about it.
Before we jump the gun we should probably question anonymous source.
In the last couple of years main stream media proved to all that their anonymous sources about trump tend not to be trust worthy.

The idea that he wasn't told is just plain nuts.

The idea that he didn't care, or wasn't paying attention, to what is usually the most important part of a presidents day, entirely believable...

The idea is that the “anonymous source” is not credible and in the last several years we’ve all seen what these sources are worth.

I just don’t think the whole thing is true.
I’m very anti-Russia, and if this is true then I’d support full response.
My beef is with the source of the information. Main stream media destroyed their own credibility in the last several years. That’s why I’m not jumping the gun.
I personally observed Trump tweeting 1 thing and mass media like CNN, WaPo, NYT, were then outright lying and presenting statements out of context. I won’t believe this until there is real proof beyond “anonymous source”.

How ya doing Zoomie? Have you seen the parade in Moscow. The first marchers were dressed in Soviet uniforms. Imagine all those men spread out all over Ukraine. Also what do you think of 'Putin's folly'? Actually the church is a memorial to the soldiers that died to protect and preserve Russia from attacks by the West internally and externally, and from their Ottoman cohorts:

They're comin for ya, slowly but surely. If I were you I would duck: :hiding:

This is the Church of the Resurrection for the Russian military. I'm overwhelmed with its beauty and grandeur, not to mention the gold and mosaics. And to think it was completed in only two years:

Oh Jennycakes....you must've taken me off ignore again....what's that about the 16 the time....I lost count.

No....I haven't seen the parade, I'm not interested in some "has beens". Although it'll be interesting to see the Covid19 count after this.....should be into the stratosphere.

Why would they be in Ukraine with old Soviet costumes. The USSR is dead Jenny.....and if they tried.....there'd probably be tons of dead vatniks. They're not welcome there in case you haven't noticed.

Putinkas "folly"??....which ones too numerous to mention.

Putinka uses the church for his own discretion and for his local audience.....he hardly gives a rats ass otherwise.

Were you at the parade.....you have a pic or video of you and dear leader? Make sure to get tested for Covid19....I hear almost 10 per cent of Moscow pop. Is infected?

Where's those riot videos and refugee camps in Poland from Ukraine Jeanette-ova??

Oh my gosh, you're scared to watch it aren't you? And here your Ukrainian comrades are ready to go to war with Russia. That's funny!

Anyway I feel for the Russians because they have a destiny, and they're going to suffer - but probably not as much as the other nations. The situation in the world is getting bad because of Nato's excursions towards Russia on its Eastern front and in the Arctic. But it's even worse in the Mediterranean because of Erdogan's Ottoman aspirations.

I also feel for Vladimir Putin because he carries the weight of so many lives on his shoulders. By the way Putin is very devout. He does go to monasteries to pray, and he does have a spiritual father (confessor). When he went to Mount Athos for a celebration, he was given the Emperors throne - which freaked out the Greek president since Mt. Athos is part of Greece. But what does the Greek President expect, he is an atheist. I know that monks do pray for Putin, otherwise I don't think he would have survived so many assassination attempts.

What's scary to watch?...actually I would've liked to see how many tanks stalled on red Square and needed a tow.

Russia probably wouldn't last long in a conventional war. They're not used to fighting someone with capabilities. Much easier if someone's retreating or defenseless.

Well it's not exactly NATO fault that Russia feels threatened. If they'd stay put and not annex territory that don't belong to them.... everything may be swell?

Russia has a destiny?.....probably...yes, breaking up further.

Putinka is devout?....goes to monasteries, prays, confesses to a father. Really?....when did he switch over to Catholicism?

You can tell when they have nothing left, back to Russia, Russia, Russia. Acting DNI Grenell said he never heard anything about it, but let's believe yet another anonymous source from the NYT. :roflol:

    Anonymous US intelligence officials.

How the CIA Works the Media:

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index.php?threads/how-the-cia-works-the-media.574650/

No matter how many times the IC has deceived the public, no matter how dubious the claims, the same people will continue to believe whatever they feed to the complicit, compliant media.

General practice is to try and kill folks that one is at war with. We do it - Russia does it.

We're not at war with Russia.

You still need to explain why Trump said nothing, and did nothing, except suck up to Putin some more.

Uh huh....this sounds like bullshit....80 US troops killed in Iraq by Iranian attack....sure there were.

Trump ordered attack on vatniks in Syria?? Also bullshit....the lousy Mongols tried to attack a fortified US base and got schwacked big time. Bring friends next time....Lotsa them, we could use the target practice.:).
