Ah not to derail the thread.. I am a stickler on that but for one post only Trucker being OK w it... I will politely disagree on your %s in regards to the great struggle. All those boys from the South didn't fight at all because of slaves... Now some fancy analyst might say so but.. Put yourself in those times.. Their shoes.. When they had boats to wear that is..

No the Confederate men some of em as young as 14 picked up a gun and marched off to die almost 90% I'd wager for state rights. Not that was in their mind but.. Even now southern folk don't like being told what to do or how to think

Why not slavery 50%? Because it was a given as long as they'd been alive. That's your history books talking. Not the men that fought and many fell

No good sir the Civil War on the level of the men fighting it.. Dying for it or coming home missing a limb if lucky was mostly because we in the South don't have no truck fancy politicians telling us how we is wrong or right on our day to day

    True to this day.

Ok ok no more on that I promise! Let's search and see what shenanigans KJU is up too..

IMO S. Korea's recent leadership change was a deliberate part of this scenario. Who was behind that?

This whole thing is giving me a headache. It's getting worse every day. There's so much happening even today.. So Putin better hurry.
Its going to be hard with KJU talking crap again.

    So today we have..

    - Another missile test by NK
    - China conducting military drills near NK
    - Speaking at the summit in Sicily, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said that "the threat has entered a new stage" and noted that today represents the first time that the G7 has recognised North Korea as a priority issue.
    -
KJU mocking Trump and threatening to kill
    us all in the US
    - A 3rd Aircraft carrier strike group moving to the area

and I'm sure I missed some items

And Putin would not dare do a pre-emptive nuclear strike - China would not tolerate it.
What is with the slathering devotion for Russia from the Trump chumps?
    Since when is Russia trustworthy???

I doubt anyone believes Putin can accomplish anything in N. Korea ... but what's the harm in him trying? The US and Russia have no conflict of interest in disarming Kim, so why create one? I think it's advisable to choose our battles with Putin wisely.

putin would love to drag us down in a proxy war in north korea, thus draining our commitment and resources to nato.

Rubbish. Pure Fantasy. We havnt had a major conflict since the Gulf War where we actually applied real firepower or rather where we actually had targets. NKs military is one big fat target.

Will be no proxy war. Will be a rapid and devastating destruction of that military.

Sooner than most think. Because of this below. Our missile defense system can't stop a solid fuel ICBM. The things fly at 4 miles a second. Even staged? 67% is best we've done so with a solid fuel ICBM drop that to 40%

That's a different topic but I'll say just one thing.. If we had would he have won? That's all the man knew how to do. Win.

He wasn't a politician. He was a warrior.

    Ima Rommel admirer too.

I was always intrigued by tank warfare. There's a purity to it or used to be.

If you like tanks there's a free app game called Armored Aces that has some beautiful ww2 and modern models. Need a decent phone though. Russians made it.

Well from what I saw the NK military stationing all those hundreds and hundreds of artillery and tank pieces all in one concentrated area, along DMZ or whatever, you couldn't ask for a better target for A10s, F22&35, a few bursts from the gatlings, and several salvos of AMRAMs, hellfires, and you one HUGE pile of iron wreckage. Something like the"highway to hell" in Iraq. Then maybe Seoul could be capital of all Korea.

They didn't call Rommel, desert fox for no reason. No real offense to my Brit allies, but it wasn't til usa entered the war to north Africa, and proceeded to drive the Germans out.

China has massed troops along it's border. Russia isn't doing anything in N. Korea.
