"What's to gain" is not living under the nuclear shadow of Kim Jong-un, who is not rational. He does not possess the emotional and mental stability to be trusted with nuclear weapons that can wipe out the United States.

Well then ... If the Russians don't want nuclear fallout drifting into Russia, now is the time to get off their duplicitous asses, and act like a responsible world power in their own neighborhood, and do something. They and the Chinese could get rid of Kim, get rid of the nukes in NK, install a responsible leader, and get out. If they don't, they completely own the consequences.
