I'm not wrong, his Doctor didn't say he was Deranged and also didn't say that he was not deranged. I didn't say the later. So there's a derangement test?

Wouldn't that mean that Mexican's have a lower IQ than whites?

Yes, it would. About 2/3rds of a standard deviation lower, 90 to 100. Standard qualification: That's the average; it doesn't tell you anything about the IQ of the person standing in front of you.

Page 15 has a chart showing how the different IQ levels impact annual income. From 1978, when IQ had a very modest impact on income, to 1993, when the difference between the highest IQ group and the lowest IQ group was in the neighborhood of $25K a year. And the difference has only become greater in the last 25 years, with cognitive ability one of the two main criteria employers look for for the highest income level jobs, the other being ability to get along with people. (House is fiction mainly because no one would put up with him as an employee.)

Same author as The Bell Curve which has been thoroughly discredited.

Doctor didn't test for mental stability. And yes there are tests for various mental illnesses. Look up criteria for Narcissistic Personality disorder. Trump meets every criteria.

And the fact that Trump asked for the cognitive test indicates at least to those of us who are skeptics thst he was probably prepped on the test. Bet even Trump could short term remember thirty answers.

Pfft. The Bell Curve has been criticized but all of its main claims have been substantiated. Both the previously posted paper and The Bell Curve are referenced in the professional literature as legitimate sources. Something I haven't seen from you yet.

I read the 500 page tome that was a collection of the responses to The Bell Curve, just out of curiosity. The criticisms ran from "How dare they?!?" to "I don't have any evidence but I don't believe it." Absolutely none of them could debunk the major points made in the book. One of these days I may get around to reading Steven J. Gould's The Mismeasure of Man, but I suspect it's going to be more of the same.

Edit: Yes, it's true, I sometimes read books that disagree with my opinions.

A simpler way of putting it, yes. The left doesn't seem to know the difference between "criticized" and "discredited". "Discredited" means that the facts have been shown to be different from the claim made, such as the pay gap and the 1 in 5 women raped. "Criticized" means that the conclusions drawn from the facts are claimed to be wrong, not the facts themselves. One of the main criticisms of IQ studies is that IQ doesn't measure what the sociologists say it does. But that doesn't alter the facts about IQ at all. It's still the best predictor of life outcomes, it's still highly inheritable, and it's still relatively stable throughout life. Whatever it measures, it's still highly useful.

There is no evidence to support that IQ is the best predictor of life's outcome, assuming you can explain whatever you mean by a term as vague as life's outcome. Or is it your contention that the only meaning of life is money and at that IQ is only one of many predictors.

Do you even google before you post just to check to see if you're wrong? IQ is the #1 predictor of success in academics, success in job performance, success in financial prosperity, and success in avoiding problems like teen pregnancy and criminal behavior. It even is a good predictor of success in marriage... high IQ people marry later in life but they stay married, while low IQ people marry early and often. About the only area it doesn't predict in the direction you would expect is drug and alcohol use. High IQ people tend to drink more and use drugs more than low IQ people.

You said that Trump was "obviously deranged" and I said not according to his doctor. Then you replied "wrong." When in fact, I was right.

Sure, but that still doesn't mean that Trump has it. And if he did, are you saying that someone with NPD would be classified as "deranged?"

Oh, so you're a conspiracy theorist?

I'll take that as a NO then @dairyair. You know, it wouldn't be a bad idea to learn what things are before commenting on them.

So you can’t see dangers of someone with NPD as president? Do you know all the signs? Lack of empathy is one. Lying in thinking that everyone believes you is another symptom where they actually believe their lies as well. Having a false sense of self is dangerous and are you aware of a lack of impulse control and how dangerous that is

Not really. My theory is genetic mixing. Caucasians have an average IQ of 100. Pure Africans have an average IQ of 70. Yielding an average IQ of mixed race American blacks of 85. AmerIndians have an average IQ of 80, yielding an average IQ of mixed race Mexicans of 90. That's probably too simple an explanation to be the whole story, but it works, anyway.

When did I say that I can't see the dangers of someone with NTD as president? I was asking if someone with it could be classified as deranged.
