I would say the majority of US citizens would be opposed to this. The strong majority of Christians certainly would be as well as Muslims.

The only people that would support this would be Atheist ultra progressives.

 

Even if you're right, it's irrelevant. People have the right to procreate as they please, and the number of people opposed to it doesn't matter. They don't have a say.

Points irrelevant to this thread. People also lose their right to freedom based on their conduct. Though I will say, that such judicial orders should be backed up by actual statutes and not just the personal opinion of the judges in question.

It is actually bull...t just to promote gay agenda. There is no way to make healthy human by modifying gametes.

 

It seems to me that a healthier way to do it would be to use the genes from sperm and introduce one set of those into an egg, if that would be possible.

A donated egg from a female relative could be used where available.

 

But they will need a surrogate mother here.
What they are doing is Test tube Babies.

Nevertheless, the matter need not be explained openly, just as women need not explain and discuss babies as sexual products.

This is in spite of adoptions, orphanages, Test Tube babies, etc.

(The alternative is to revise a culture to stop divorces and demand two parents raise the kids every time.)

This technology is nowhere near as likely or easy as some people like to suggest but I'm not really sure that it would be a good thing for the gay agenda even if it works. The parental expectation for children would be applied to gays a lot more strongly if this were possible and insofar as being gay is a choice, I don't get the impression that people choose it because they want a family.

 

I think you may be right. If there is a real desire to parent it may come much later in life if at all, when the family structure would need to be supported by the rest of society through Social Security. It is difficult to see how enough gay males could be socialized early enough in life to be child oriented. At this point we are having difficulty adequately socializing enough straight females to do the task of child rearing.

I went to some effort to spell out some of the possible genetic implications of the OP and no one even answered my post.

In my opinion true prospective parents would have wanted to explore the topic more thoroughly.

 

I think this is wonderful news for homosexual couples who desire to have their own natural children-- I am a big believer in adoption, but it's not for everyone.

I wasn't so good with biology, but seem to remember something about a male having an XY chromosome and the female having an XX chromosome.

So how screwed up is this lab rat child going to be? If he isn't some kind of freak, with physical disabilities, mental disabilities, and then on top of that, being raised in a house with no mother, psychologically screwed up, then, he will pass on those science experiment of genetic goo onto his offspring? How will that affect future generations? You could be making zombie people, or democrats.

What road you 'should' take depends on what destination you want to arrive at. Different people have different goals for their lives.
