I didnt vote for Obama or Trump.

If you honestly think that Trump supporters treated Obama the same as how Trump is being treated, you are sorely mistaken.

Anyway, from somebody that didnt vote for either, the fact that you say the motivation of the left is simple pettiness... in the open, is astounding.

 

Maybe you could find a cult that serves koolaid every meeting too.

The idea that you will smash a political opinion because it doesnt align with your own makes you the problem not the solution.

 

Why is it astounding that I should call the left petty? They most certainly are, to think otherwise would be just plain silly. And I believe without a doubt that the right treated Obama equally horrible. Hell Trump spent how many years denying Obama was even American, and to deny the man was even a Christian. So no Trump is not being treated any harsher than Obama.
That being said the right were far more petty for the duration of the Obama presidency
Beginning with the make him fail campaign that lasted till the bitter end. But not limited to the make him fail campaign. How many federal court appointments did they block? How many dod they try to block. The republicans did everything the could to make the country go bust, just so they could call Obama a failure, which they did anyway.
Well the truth is that Obama did do a good job, and history will show that.

Which begs the question:

How will history judge Trump?

Outside of his SCOTUS Appts. (Which will, inevitably, leave a "legacy"), as ot now I would put him in the class of Millard Fillmore and James Buchanan (among the lowest of the low ever to serve).
