Wonder exactly what has been promised, or possibly already delivered, that warranted Saudi Arabia's investment fund agreeing to invest $2 BILLION in Jared Kushner's brand new untested investment Firm Affinity Partners. The investment will be charged an annual management fee of $25 Million. Sort of making the supposed $3.5 Million paid to Hunter Biden by a wealthy Russian woman. look like chicken feed. The article can be read in today's right wing NY Post.

Of course people know why it's a story. RWM are hoping it's the next Benghazi. When the Repubs win the House I expect no less than 5 congressional committee investigations. The mob is hungry for red meat and must be fed regularly.

Seriously people, if this doesn't stink to the high heavens, you moral compass is fubar or worse you don't care once it's Trump related. Let's be serious if you are for Hunter Biden being investigated with what has been presented so far which is just word of mouth innuendo and no concrete proof but **** tons of speculation, how could you not also want Kushner et al to also be investigated here? It's possible he traded classified secrets and also acted on insider info to get such a sweet deal.
If you believe in the rule of law, they both need to be looked at. You'll also need to look at Ivanka and her profiteering.

    This is ****ing B/S vvv
Jared Kushner's PE firm secured $2 billion from Saudi Arabia despite objections he was too inexperienced to manage the money, report says

    From the article:
"However, citing an internal document dated June 30, The Times reported that an internal PIF panel tasked with assessing the feasibility of investment was reluctant to support Kushner's fund, citing his lack of experience.

The group also flagged that its background check found that Affinity Partners was "unsatisfactory in all aspects" and that there were "public relations risks" given Kushner was a former senior adviser to Trump, The Times said.

But the panel was overruled by the board of the PIF, The Times reported. The chairman of the board is Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the country's de facto leader who has formed a close bond with Kushner since 2017.

The PIF and Kushner Companies, the Kushner family firm, did not immediately respond to Insider's request for comment.

Kushner and Crown Prince Mohammed are on a first-name basis, texting often and informally when Kushner was in the White House, The Times previously reported. In 2017, Crown Prince Mohammed gifted Kushner two swords and a dagger worth $48,000, The Times said.

In turn, Kushner defended Crown Prince Mohammed in 2018 following the murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi.

It appears that Crown Prince Mohammed and Kushner remained close after Trump's presidency, with Bloomberg reporting that Kushner met the crown prince in Saudi Arabia during a tour of the Middle East earlier in 2022."

Wonder what ABS and the Saudi's are getting, or already got, to warrant such a reward? For $2 billion plus an addit6ional $25 Million per year it had to be something of great value.

    And from the NYTs:
"The Saudi fund agreed to invest twice as much and on more generous terms with Mr. Kushner than it did at about the same time with former Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin — who was also starting a new fund — even though Mr. Mnuchin had a record as a successful investor before entering government, the documents show. The amount of the investment in his firm, Liberty Strategic Capital — $1 billion — has not been previously disclosed.

A spokesman for Mr. Kushner’s firm said of its relationship with the Saudi Public Investment Fund, “Affinity, like many other top investment firms, is proud to have PIF and other leading organizations that have careful screening criteria, as investors.”

reported last fall that Mr. Kushner had been seeking a Saudi investment. Now, the internal fund records and correspondence obtained by The Times show the outcome, scale and timing of his firm’s deal as well as the debate it aroused. Those documents and other filings indicate that at this point Mr. Kushner’s venture depends primarily on the Saudi money.

Mr. Kushner planned to raise up to $7 billion in all, according to a document prepared last summer for the Saudi fund’s board. But so far he appears to have signed up few other major investors.

In its most recent public filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission, dated March 31, Mr. Kushner’s firm reported that its main fund had $2.5 billion under management, almost entirely from investors based overseas."

Before Giving Billions to Jared Kushner, Saudi Investment Fund Had Big Doubts

Every lib reporter and investigator will be looking at Kushner as they ignore Biden. When a person is a conservative they have to dot every I and cross every T, but if you’re the Big Guy….

What exactly is the problem here? Jared does not hold a political position. If you're trying to tie him to Trump, remember that Trump does not hold a political position. If MBS was trying to buy influence he can get a lot of existing politicians with that money.

You don't think that if Hunter s/b investigated that Kushner should also be investigated? How do you know that Kushner didn't kick up to the big guy? And, you already know since Trump grifts his base like a dawg, Kush will have to kickback to the big guy. Tell me the difference between Kush and Hunter? Take all the time you need since Kush has never run an investment fund. My moral compass is perfect, you (since it's pretty desperate to make this about me)?!

It's ridiculous to even make such a sophomoric comparison. Only one of them had a security clearance.

You forgot to mention that Mnuchin got $1 billion, as well, just after meeting with Saudis right around 1/6.

But repubs are concerned with Hunter, yet the tink is all around Trump and they don't give a damn.

Wake up. Jared wouldn't have gotten that dough but for Trump being president, and looking like he will be president again ( from their perspective ).

Also, Mnuchin got $1 billion, as well, after meeting with Saudis just after 1/6, which he wouldn't have gotten but for Trump.

It's the 'but for Trump being prez' that's the problem.

    Apparently that detail eludes you.

It's a good thing that he is not related to the president and his daddy or his in-laws or anything are not the president.

You folks should be more concerned about the person who is currently the president and what his crack smoking son is up to.
