I'm sure those "tens of millions" also celebrated how iran used children to walk across mine fields in the iraq war, and slaughtered about 40,000 intellectuals, secularists, and leftists from 1980-1988.

No thanks, we get enough propaganda from you, that's entertaining enough. "Government sponsored" press TV; yeah - that'll certainly convince us. C'mon you can do better, you're not even trying any more.

I won’t cast aspersions on your claim that those are pro government rallies but I have no way of confirming either way. I would prefer seeing Al Jazeera or CNN international show coverage of any pro government rallies. I can see how there could be many Iranians that might be welcoming of a freer government but at the same time opposing a revolution that might turn bloody and end up looking like Syria, Libya or Iraq. But that wouldn’t make them be pro Iranian government.

    From these links:

"Iran restricted access to Instagram and Telegram social media apps as a security measure during the anti-government rallies, according to state TV."

If the anti-regime rallies were not so massive and successful, the fake, illegitimate regime would not need to take such actions. Just as the nazi party had a lot of supporters in 1941 when the germans were rolling across europe. It had a lot less supporters in January 1945 when its economy had collapsed and people were running out of food.

As I've said 100 times before, the regime will collapse, either on its own over time, or sooner in a military campaign by the US or other outside powers. I vote for the latter, as sooner means more lives saved.
