    Excellent!

    The Honorable Andrew Scheer
is wise to condemn the NDP for their position on the Keystone XL Project.

I personally am a firm believer in the reality of climate change and
I do agree that atmospheric CO2 is one important part of the
formula but I have been promoting an alternative theory on climate stabilization
    since 2007.

One nation on earth has experienced COOLING in its climate since 1950.
That same nation, on a per capita basis, led the world in a combination of
planting trees and in large scale desalination of ocean water for agriculture,
reforestation projects and for towns experiencing water shortages.

    That nation was ISRAEL!

The political left doesn't seem to want to give Israel any credit
for any of their amazing accomplishments, (especially
for giving the world an alternative to a carbon tax or cap and trade
system as a response to climate change).

Did Israel have a carbon tax or cap and trade system in effect since 1950?

    No!

I dealt with stabilization of the climate in my 2008 campaign for the office of Municipal Councillor.

The fact that the nation of Israel has experienced
COOLING in its climate is evidence that
my friend Carl Cantrell's theory on
stabilization of the climate has certain advantages over
    a carbon tax.

I have to admit that Mr. Andrew Scheer certainly does have
    an impressive resume!

    http://www.andrewmp.ca/p/about.html

Mr. Scheer's willingness to campaign for the office of
National Leader of Canada's Conservative Party also grabbed my attention due to
the fact that one of my all time favourite near death experiencers happens to live in
    his city.

Now I could be incorrect but I believe that
an effective gambit toward genuine peace between the nations of
Israel and Jordan has been laid in Dr. MacDonald's book, on pages
    137 - 170.

You will know a little better about what I mean by this by
reading post #1 and #2 in this other discussion:

Is turning deserts green a good response to climate change?
Voters:21. You have already voted on this poll.

No, only a carbon tax of some form will stop climate change!
    1.............4.76%

Yes, plants are both a carbon as well as a water sink!
    7...............33.33%

No, we should never engage in geo-engineering of any form or shape, EVER!!!
    6..................28.57%

Yes, with one billion hungry, how can we go wrong by producing more food?
    11...................52.38%

Did you know that there is an Islamic prophecy that the Islamic desert regions would be turned green in the latter days?????

This topic is of special interest to me because I live about a hundred miles from the Bay of Fundy. I live five kms from the ocean on the eastern part of Nova Scotia. In my area the difference between low tide to high tide is about one meter! The land form of the Bay of Fundy has a funnelling effect on tidal waters and so parts of the Fundy have a difference of fifteen to seventeen meters between low to high tide!

The question on my mind would be if ocean levels were to rise about thirty centimeters in my part of Nova Scotia, would they rise by four or five meters along parts of the Fundy????

There are 143,000 acres of farmland taken back from the Fundy by dikes that are probably in the position of the proverbial canary in a coal mine in relation to rising ocean levels!

Every cubic meter of H2O added to the water table of nations in the Middle EAst will NOT be on top of New Orleans, Florida, Holland, Bangladesh or those 143,000 acres along the Fundy!!!!!

I felt a huge sense of relief when I first heard about The Sahara Forest Project!

    Sahara Forest Project

This could even turn out to be a major key to solving the pretty serious refugee problem that much of the rest of Europe is experiencing?!

It could be very helpful that there is an ancient Islamic prophecy that in the latter days...… the deserts of the Islamic nations will be turned green!

    ....
Mr. Scheer.... when you visit Nova Scotia this weekend please take the time to take a look at the Bay of Fundy. Near the town of Truro
you can see the area that experiences the world's highest tides.

All Israel has done since 1950 is destroy the Jordan River, the Dead Sea, two aquifers.. and the water table.

Plant more trees and save the planet. Why didn't anyone think of that before Israel came along?

Thank you for this reply Margot2.

To whatever degree you are correct in this assertion, this
is certainly one good reason for the Israeli Knesset to eventually
approve a plan to drill a nine meter wide tunnel from the Mediterranean Sea near
Tel Aviv to somewhere near the Dead Sea. That tunnel could transport
somewhere in the range of two hundred million cubic meters of ocean water annually
to several hydro-electric generation facilities...... and then afterward that salt water could be
desalinated for agriculture, towns experiencing drought.... as well as for reforestation projects.

That project would almost certainly cause a boom in the economy of Jordan as well as for
    the Palestinians so......
the Israeli Knesset might not be thrilled at first.......
but there is one way that the government of Jordan could almost certainly get
    approval for the project!

Pressure the Islamic Waqf into giving approval to the Jerusalem SanHedrin to
rebuild their Jerusalem Third Temple over the Gihon Spring on the Temple Mount!

The Gihon Spring Theory on the location of the Temple of Solomon is fascinating because
it means that the Jerusalem Temple would be a nice comfortable distance from either
The Dome of the Rock or the Al Aqsa Mosque!

I am so glad that Mr. Sigmund Ivarsson put this theory in front of me over these past months!

China deserves credit for their "Green Wall of China."

It is possible that China may have planted even more trees than the nation of Israel did
which is why I worded my assertions on this in the way that I did..... on a per capita basis
Israel leads the world in a COMBINATION of planting trees and in large scale desalination of
ocean water for agriculture, reforestation projects as well as for towns and cities experiencing drought.

Andrew Scheer is one of my top three choices to become
National Leader of Canada's Conservative Party.

I do believe that he would like this basic idea.

    Exactly!!!!

Andrew Scheer is obviously an intelligent man but I think he has made some pretty serious errors over this past year.......

So did I ... but people have lower expectations of janitors than they have of potential Prime Ministers of Canada!
