Now these pc idealogues must admit at the very least that they must put into that mix of things they claim influence intelligence .....genes. It is a 'theory' amongst most liberals that culture and environment shape intelligence...a few will admit that heredity plays a role. Not as we witness more and more evidence produced by science of the role genes play---it seems to some that genes may even be the pre-dominant determinant of intelligence. No one doubts that intelligence is genetic. People just aren't sure how much of an impact things like culture or nutrition have.

Exactly......it is like in the old days when certain institutions claimed the world was flat....anyone that disputed that could find themselves in big trouble...likewise today the manner in which those who do research in the field of genetics find themselves coming up against academic progressive bigots who demand that it is verboten to say that genes control intelligence...some of them will go along with it as long as you throw in the language used above...aka that culture and environment also play a role.

Of course genes play a role in intelligence. Asian kids do much better than white kids in the same environment. Is that what you meant?
Sure I have. Nobody brought up race so I didn't either. While there may be a genetic difference between races in terms of general intelligence the effect is likely to be negligible, and there are so many variables at play that haven't or can't be quantified. It's clear, for example, that Americans of largely African descent score better on general intelligence tests than Africans from Africa. In terms of the disparity seen between humans it's clear that the largest part of the difference DOES lie in cultural differences. Cultural groups with similar ancestries can come to have extreme disparities in terms of general intelligence. If you'd taken a general intelligence test of a Chinese person 50 years ago and compared it to a Chinese person today the difference would be huge.
I noticed this in the third grade. All of the top students in my class had successful parents. Most of the bottom students had parents who were not the sharpest knives in the drawer. Of course hereditary is at work here.

That'd be because they have Asian parents. Ask any specialist teacher in Gifted Education ... they'll tell you that the kids they teach all have one thing in common (regardless of race) ... parents who care about education.

You misunderstand. 'Intelligent' parents are simply parents who care about education (obviously). This is passed on to their kids via support of same. It's BEHAVIOUR.
The more genetic research that comes in the more it is headed in the direction of genes playing the dominant role...even many progressives will admit that now.
