Why? Clearly we have been citing scientific findings, while you have been saying false things that are easily corrected by a little research. So your deflection rings hollow.

We must understand we are not there to instill democracy.
A benevolent despot will do. Just security for people is why we remain.

Our motive is charity, if not saving money per capita.
Think Marshall Plan and MacArthur occupation of Japan.
    Certainly contractors will profit.
As far as administrators from among the locals,
at the discretion of the security guarantor. (Unless it's :flagcanada: or French)

And skipping, prancing unicorns on green, grassy hills. with a rainbow sky.

Yes it would take a serious rethink of how we do stuff for later security.
Whether Cool Down or Warm Up, our best security would be in helping people adapt at home.
And their gov't is their gov't, not :flagus:

BTW, anyone look it up regarding a possible convergence with the solar minimum?
How is our axis compared to ice ages?
How is our orbit compared to periods of glaciation?
I just read they were regarded as helping the great Ice Ages.
Also, an Ice Age is not as rough in the Southern Hemisphere.
Consider Australia or New Zealand. KiwiLand's Southern Alps may glaciate and some of the highest points of O.Z.Land. But, not like "The Day After Tomorrow" that normal people face. (how normal is living on your head?) It has to do with smaller land mass of the Southern Hemisphere compared to ocean.

YES, I looked up Ice Age Southern Hemisphere :) Yes I did.

Have you looked up what scientists predict for the climate?

In neither of those cases did we have direct control of a foreign government.
