I have found the best and easiest means of dealing with those who deny or derail scientific data, at least here anyway.

    Have A Nice Day:)

I agree that some areas have challenges in isolating variables and implementing controls for study.

Btw, you can isolate volunteer human lab rats and observe and measure their reactions across a broad spectrum physiological and psychological stimuli.

Science is poorly served and potentially flawed when even scientists who ask questions are told to sit down and shut up.

The record here has been far worse than the record of the hard sciences.

And, I'm not ready to suggest it's because those who study these softer sciences are worse as scientists.

It depends on whether they are quacks or not, doesn't it? Kinda like the flat earther version of a scientist. After all, the "mad scientist" is a cultural meme.

Of course. But when they are not, and the same response occurs, the science is flawed.

Absolutely agree. The scientific investigation of human behavior is critical to our individual and collective development. ONe must accept its limitations, false starts, abuses and charlatans. And the aforementioned example was a doozie.

And in the VAST majority of cases the flaws can be found in the dissenters science.

    Not true in the slightest.

When the scientific method is abandoned, and peer, as well as public, attacks are made against anyone who doesn't support the theory, the science being touted is flawed.

Yes when the scientific method is abandoned, it is no longer science, let alone "flawed".

we should insist on a fully functional "SimCity" demo, first!
