Scotland: Military cadets told not to wear uniform in public

Scotland military cadets were told not to wear uniform in public in fear of them being attacked by Muslims.
Is it Islamophobia ? Is it submission to Islam ?
Either way, this is a very troubling message about the so called 'Scottish military'.

Weird. Don't get it. "attacked by muslims"? What muslims, criminals? Just random law-obedient muslims? If first, why would it matter? Criminals will attack somebody anyway. And if second - what, muslims now get triggered by grey shirts and berets? The hell..???

 

Why on earth is it a very troubling message for the 'so called Scottish military' as you call them. It is only a follow up on the change in regulations following the attack in London

Oh they asked us to do that ages ago but that was really more to do with pubs than anything else. Also I don't know what you mean when you say the "Scottish military" because that hasn't existed for quite some time

 

You tell me what Muslims. After the attack they are criminals, before the attack they are law-obedient citizens.

How wearing or not wearing uniform provokes anything..?

 

A uniform identifies you as a target for those who wish to kill you.
A soldiers uniform is camouflage. What better camouflage than civilian clothes.

The provocation to kill a British soldier already exists in the minds of our enemies. We seek to limit their opportunities.

 

Isn't it more concerning that there are any sort of enemies in YOUR COUNTRY? Shouldn't that be rather a sing to tighten border control, launch some sort of counry-wide sweep, rewise police reports and try rooting out dissidents..?

 

Typically, they don't come in at the border, Ninian. They are born here.
It's not just MY COUNTRY. It's also THEIR COUNTRY.

We have security forces and infrastructure galore working to prevent this sort of thing. Very strict gun control etc. CCTV everywhere. Communications monitored. I must report any student in my class who expresses any such political sympathies and so on.
