This again, this has been beaten to death.

So you demand evidence that homosexuality be removed from the classification of a mental illness, even though it doesn't fit the most basic narrow parameters of such, yet you do not demand evidence of its original classification. The original was based on religious principles - not scientific ones.

The reason the APA reversed the decision so quickly is because their entire metrics were called into question, they had arrived at medical diagnosis by religious influence.

There is no secret gay society that is getting these classifications removed - actual psychology was applied and it destroyed the religious indoctrination of the agencies.

If anyone has a mental illness, it is people that believe in imaginary beings to dictate the lives of others.

So you couldn't answer the question, of course.

    Your panties get all tied up in a knot because you know that no other people were more free and had more rights than American citizens did back at that time.;

It is disturbing that you will not hold all people to the same moral and ethical standard. The 14th said nothing about gays. You are just using you imagination to believe things documents don't say.

Is religious influence any less suspect than political influence?

The APA and most of the Psychiatric community are only one step above Bigfoot Hunters. Psychology is listed in the realm of humanities---not science.

You brought the subject up to prove the gay conspiracy which is absurd.
Both religious and political intervention should be eliminated as both have agendas.

Thanks. It's a bell that should be wrung loudly whenever cases like these come up. If this catches on or even starts to circulate in the political zeitgeist maybe we can stop wasting money and clogging up the court system with these ridiculous bills?

Allowing homosexuals to raise children is criminal. It is child abuse, these children grow up to also be gender/sexuality confused, in most cases, thanks to the sickness being shoved down their throats daily at home as "normal" and "ok" Most of these people actually encourage the children to be "queer" like them.

They are all suffering a mental disorder, plain as day. The same as any other mental disorder, do we give kids to crazy people in mental institutions?

    Disgusting and abnormal.
    Child abuse.

    Not in the USA.
:roflol:So the only reason you aren't homosexual is because you had heterosexual parents?:roflol:You aren't hetersexual if that is the case.

Conspiracy "theories" have their own forum, please keep them there.

People only make that claim when there are things that don't affirm their biases. It's like young earth creationists that claim paleontologists sculpted rocks to be dinosaur skeleton fossils. Or when people that insist the earth is flat claim astronomy is a conspiracy theory.

I see this conspiracy theory trend growing among backward religious cultist types that think all of reality is a magical monster tricking people into believing it.

It's a delusion, and I'm glad to see they don't have the public discourse in a vise in the enlightened world.

The only thing worse than a Flat Earth belief, is people thinking they have "gender identities" apart from what their own genome and natural physical appearance shows. Just another mental disorder. Supporting this transgender nonsense should also be considered another form of madness.

As long as they aren't Bolsheviks about it, I could care less. That goes for any conspiracy believing person. Whether you say psycology isn't a science or you think dinosaurs are a plot by Beelzebub to lure poeple away from your cult.

It's all cognitive dissonance and it's all equally banal. But as long as you aren't pushing for laws, believe the moon is a ****ing marshmallow. What do I care?

It's the practice of Bolshevism that I disagree with. You want that garbage move to Saudi Arabia.

    What criminal statutes are violated?

What source does this excrement come from? Most homosexuals know the damage that bigots have caused them personally and would never wish that upon their children. They do teach tolerance though.

Bigotry is a mental disorder, homosexuality is an orientation

I suppose that if the state of SD won't prosecute this type of discriminatory behavior, one wonders about the rest of their willingness to support other basic protections under the law.

I realize that many religious folks are unwilling to budge on the social liberties they'd exclude and truly I think they are sad, antiquated and misguided. For those who are so eager to ridicule progressive 'merkia' for their dogmatic obedience, this doesn't offer any differentiation. This is exactly the type of fear driven dogma they themselves adopt.

I would expect that the state of SD will find itself defending their legislation in either state or federal court, but likely federal court will find as they have in other religious preservation cases that the state has overreached, and the legislation will be voided.

I would challenge the state of SD then to find appropriate care for those they would otherwise have allowed adoption to gay couples and demonstrate they have the moxy to produce any satisfactory outcome.

I only know two parent queer families, so yes. All very stable long term marriages.

No dear. Homosexuality is a variant of sexuality. Gay people are no more crazy than hetero people.

I'm not entirely convinced that Lesbians aren't crazy, though. Lots of thought on that.

My thoughts on it, if they can afford to refuse parents willing and capable of adoption based on some superstitious simple-minded nonsense, they don’t need a cent of federal money.

What are you going to do with an African American or Jewish or Native American mother who wants her child to be adopted by a family of her heritage to insure her child maintains her heritage? All are actual examples of conditions women require in order put their baby up for adoption. Are you going to ban women from making those conditions?

If they want their child to maintain their cultural heritage, they can raise them themselves.

The condition of placing your child up for adoption is that you don't
have to raise them. Otherwise they're ****ing those kids over.

You forfeit your child when you give them up for adoption.
So no, I don't care for her wishes.
The only thing we should guarantee them is a stable loving home free from abuse.

And this is good, how? This is a example of how faith needs to stay out of, at all costs, each and every business transaction. Yes, adoption is still a matter of business. Keeping God in your house for that 8-5 job isn't that hard to do.

The Supreme Court will strike it down. It's a violation of the seventh amendment. Nobody is protected from lawsuits. And creating special protections for a religious entity is respecting the establishment of a religion.

I don't think SD has a snowballs chance in hell of keeping this law.
