I think Huggy was off by just one year last year when he said the Seahawks will go undefeated and win the superbowl and here are the reasons why I think they will go undefeated in the regular season and accomplish what the patriots were just one miracle catch away from accomplishing in their first superbowl against the Giants that year.

1.they have an excellent coach.Everybody wants to play for Pete Carrol because he makes even practices fun.Al Michaels talked about that on a monday night football game last year how he makes the practicies fun.If there are any other NFL coachs out there that make practices fun,I havent heard about them.

Thats why the players that play for him, they dont care about the money near as much as players on other teams do.they play the game for the love of the game not for the love of the money.the ones that are so much into the money thing leave for greener pastures.

this is what it said in USA TODAY about him-In seattle, the hammer rests with coach pete carrol, whose upbeat style belies the intensity and detail of the program he has built. He and general manager John Schneider evaluated and made changes, with a handful of key veterans departing, but the core is still the same.

they STILL have plenty of depth and are one of the youngest teams in the league if not THE youngest which just may be the case. Carrol and schneider are easily by leaps and bounds the best duo of Head coach/general manager in the NFL.

2.Russel Wilson as good as he was last year is only going to be better this year and thats scary for the rest of the league.

3.Their offense will actually be better this year.

at first I was skeptical on how they would survive with the loss of Golden tate but with Percy Harvin still there,he brings an added dimension to that offense as we saw in the superbowl. If he stays healthy, they are going to be a major force to be reckoned with.

Oh and their offensive line is far better this year than last year as well.Remember the packers have one of the best defenses of all their opponents out there, for sure in the top three if not the best of the ones out there in the league.yet in the second half against that team, the packers were scratching their heads trying to figure out how to stop them.

their running game has greatly improved this year since they got rid of reject Giamonti or whatever that tackles name was and have Justin Britt in his place now who does not play like a rookie at all.

He looks like he has been in the leauge for YEARS!!!! carpenter and the other guard they had last year, have really improved their game in blocking in the running game this year.

Oh and remember their best lineman Russel Okung and Max Unger are not even 100% yet and they played lights out football against the packers last night. They are rusty because they played sparingly in the pre season games. Just think how tough for opponents they will be when they are at full strength!!!! yikes.!!!!!!

4.as hard as it is to believe, you look at their schedule and its actually easier this year than last year believe it ot not.Im really surprised that Green Bay had to come here and play them and denver has to as well.their schedule would have been much more difficult having those game so the road for them.

the two teams in the NFC that gave them problems last year the 49ers and the cardinals? they are worse this year than last year with key losses on defense.the fact the pitifil cowboys only lost to them by a touchdown against the niners and the cardinals barely escaped victory over my creampuff chargers at home no less speaks volumns how bad they are this year.lol.

5.Last but not least. They have cut down on penaltys drastically from a year ago last year to this year.

I said many times last year as did others that if they didnt commit so many penaltys in all their games all the time leading the league, they would go undefeated.

well THIS year, they have done just that, they were always in double digit penaltys last year most the time where in their preseason games they werent committing more than five.were under five in each one of them.for just preseason, that was phenemenal.and it carried over into their opener against the packers committing only four.

in the game against the packers when one of their secondary players committed the most costly one,a pass interfernce penalty that led to a touchdown and gave green bay a 7-3 lead, the seahawks answered back driving the length of the field for the go ahead score with their touchdown.Last year they would not have done that this early in the season.

Carrol obviously worked long and hard with them in the off season stressing them to play penalty free.

as long as the refs arent hometown refs like they were in their first loss of the season last year on the road to the colts where the refs ruled a touchdown a safetly that even colt fans said was a safety,if they get lucky bounces which is what it depends on all the time-the dolphins were just lucky in a couple gamews their season when they accomplished the feat having the other team in a couple games fumble the ball deep in their territory when the dolphins were down by a touchdown and harvin stays healthy, forget it,they go undefeated AND win the superbowl.if they go undefeated in the regular season, its game over, the AFC is too weak for them.

    So much for going undefeated.:roflol:

I'll be laughing my ass off if Denver rolls in and beats Seattle at home.

Rivers and the Chargers beat Seattle, last week the Cards beat the Chargers.

You obviously put your foot in your mouth about the seachickens going undefeated, just like you're talking out of your backside about Seattle going back to the Super Bowl being a sure thing.

Stick too kook conspiracies(which you're not even good at), because you're just another bandwagon fan who doesn't know much about football.

The hawks have a good chance at making back it to the bowl, I will give them that.

9/11 told me I didnt know anything about football for siding with Vegas on the super bowl. It would seem to me if picking one game means i dont know anything about football, him (*)(*)(*)(*)ing up a whole season must mean he doesn't even watch football.

Seahawks have the worst fans in the NFL, I lived in the pac nw for a decade or so, and now im back in cali dealing with 9er and raiders fans, and they dont hold a candle to the shecock fans.

MOD EDIT - Rule 3 I agree with you, the Seahawks could end up back in the super bowl, and I'm sure nobody would be surprised, but nothing is guaranteed.

no I did not put my foot in my mouth, can you read? i said PROBABLY? i did not say WILL like i did about them repeating.as usual,i see you need to bone up on your reading skills.you mean stick to wacky conspiracy THEORIES like the ones you believe in such as magic bullets stopping in mid air and ignoring credible witnesses, those kind of wacky conspiracy theories that you worship?:weed:

till the seahawks dont repeat,i have yet to put my foot in my mouth since again i used the word PROBABLY going undefeated and not the word WILL like i did for them repeating..

okay so they wont go undefeated.they will though get home filed adavantage for the playoffs, when that happens, its game over, they win the superbowl.

yep you for sure proved you knew nothing about football picking staute of liberty mr choke peyton manning to actually beat the hawks in the superbowl.that was some great entertainment back then.:roflol: a guy who has never won anything against top notch competetion.:roflol:

oh i never said they WOULD go undefeated like i did them winning the superbowl again which still stands, just that they PROBABLY would in case you're thinking of commenting on that mistake i made.lol

the one time manning won the superbowl was against a QB who is a journeyman quarterback..anytime he faces top notch competetion like a good quarterback like drew brees in big games,he chokes as he did against the saints thats why i cant believe anybody could possibly be that nutty to pick the donkeys to win that game, they dont know the history of manning in big games against top notch competetion.:roflol: you should have done a little thing called research.lol

the donkeys at the end of the season were just BARELY beating crappy teams lie the faiders and texans, thats pretty bad.did not take a genius to see they were overrated.:roflol:

it goes all the way back to his days in college, hee hee.

you werent using any logic and common sense back then to know that vegas picking them to win was because he was the media darling of them.

thats why they did not schedule the hawks next game against the donkeys for the opener of the year like they should have because they know the hawks will destroy their media darling they are rooting for in seattle

if it was in denver it would be a closer game but they know manning will pee his pants when he faces that defense again in seattle.:roflol:

okay so they wont undefeated, but barring any major injurys to multiple players or if wilson gets hurt,i see nobody in the NFC capable of standing toe to toe with this team.14-2 would be realistic though which AGAIN is why i said in the beginning would PROBABLY go undefeated instead of WILL.

will repeat though is something that would be pretty hard to stop them from.

Lol nice try bud, you're running your mouth in week two of the season. This just shows how little you know about football.

Saying they'll "probably" go undefeated then turning around and say that's not what you said, is (*)(*)(*)(*)ing chicken(*)(*)(*)(*), and you know it.

The Seahawks are good, but sthey are beatable so deal with it.

Oh ya its been proven beyond a doubt that only kooks like you cry about a magic bullet, Conley was sitting lower and to the left of JFK, it's been proven without a doubt that the tragectpry was possible. You been pawned on football and JFK all in one post. Now sit down and let they adults discuss football.

I think they're pretty tough at home, loosing only one game at home in the last two years proves that. But, they're still beatable.

it's very difficult to play when you can't hear. Nothing stops other stadiums from using technology to give an advantage to the home team

If the rams could some how back in to the play offs, they could be a problem for any team. Top tier defense with enough O to win on any given sunday.

man you arent kidding,I even gave it up on them after their defense laid an egg against the kansas city clowns football team and then just barely beat the chokeland faiders at home no less who really have been choking all year long but it appears they were just coasting and now that they cannot afford to lose anymore games the rest of the year, are finally playing with some heart and passion.at least on defense anyways, the defense at least is back to its dominant self now that everybody is healthy again.

I wasnt giving them a prayer to repeat which is the only thing here i ever guaranteed and said WOULD happen but now they just might.I didnt give them a prayer of them going into green bay and winning in the playoffs but after they nearly blew a 31-7 halftime lead against the falcons who are not a good cold weather team no less,im not so impressed with the packers now who just a week ago I thought would easily go to teh superbowl. If you almost blow a lead like that against the falcons at HOME no less, thats a concern if you are a packers fan.Now Im not so sure they are as great a team as their record indicates after last night and they look very vulnerable on defense.

The seahawks match up well with them physically and actually could go down there and beat them, they are peaking at the right time when people even such as myself, wrote them off after the kansas city loss a team that lost to the chokeland faiders.

if their offense and defense can get on the same page with each other and that offense starts clicking, look out.

I have a good feeling they will make it back to the superbowl now,but im not so sure they can beat the pats who are easily the best team in the AFC.the pats are much better thsi year with the addition of darrel revis and a healthy wolfork and gronkowski again so unlike the donkeys,is the hawks get back there again, the pats might give them problems and actually make it a game.Plus tom brady doesnt choke in big games like manning does which again why it was such a no brainer to pick the hawks to win last year.hee hee.

i mean it didnt take a genius last year to see that it was a no brainer to pick the hawks.not only because of mannings history of choking and getting scared in big games against top notch competetion, but also because the hawks players were all healthy where the donkeys had key injurys to many of their key starters.

It didnt take einstein to figure out it was in the bag for the hawks last year.hee hee.

this year it could be much tougher against the pats assuming they do get by the packers and make it there.

well cant blame them.they were at that time playing with no passion or heart and just coasting.Like I said, now that they know they cant afford to lose anymore games, their defense at least has stepped up and is playing with heart and passion now.

Seattle will wind up facing Green Bay in an epic playoff game at Lambeau field and the winner of that will win the Superbowl.
The Seahawks are now on track and peaking perfectly.

Looks like now that playoff game could be in Seattle. I'm a seahawks fan from their beginning, but they aren't going to win another super bowl until they fix their offensive line. They are getting brutalized.

It will be interesting to see if the Hawks are one hit wonders. So far this season they are not the power house you would expect and I think most of it is from the black feud going on in the locker room and seeping onto the field.

I think the Seahawks defenese will carry them to the Super Bowl. I think the Patriots will win the SB. The Patriots defenese is outstanding, and Brady's O-line is fixed, and they have a Gronk. I think their run game would be limited though. If they both go to the Super Bowl, I think it'd be a great game.

Patriots are formidable due to Gronkowski and
a revamped running game. Of course Brady knows how to win.
I just feel like, all things being equal, no one has Seattle's balance in all three areas of the game (offense, defense, special teams).
Just one bad game could knock them out but the same goes for everyone else.

I'm a huge seahawks fan, but their offensive line is a big liability. They have the absolute worst offensive line in the NFL. I can think of liabilities which are not as critical.
