You have two homosexuals in a row running Seattle. You have a woman that prosecuted crimials but no doubt feels better with the homeless living on the streets. When Democrats assume control of a city, the problems truly begin. School districts falter. Suddenly the Mayor says things are just fine.
It's worth the watch. See this happening in a lot of cities in the US. And I think the problem is largely the same. Politicians that don't serve the people.
I work there often. Its a shithole. Olympia too. I can't figure out why so many people live there. No redeeming qualities whatsoever.
I'll give you the tldr version. Seattle has decided it is no longer going to enforce laws it is no longer going to prosecute criminals for the crimes they commit so what has happened is it's turned into pretty much a dump weather has used needles all over parks drug addicts are running wild breaking and entering stealing things. And the people that have lived in Seattle are tired of it. The problem isn't the police they want to make the community better. The problem seems to be administrative where people who have been arrested 30 or 40 times and I'm not joking 30 or 40 times I'm still running around in the streets doing the same thing that got arrested in 30 or 40 times for. And the government seems to be laughing at everyone who points out this problem.
Lots of drugs, very low likelihood of serving any time for dealing or using. As to why non drug users live there I think they're holding out hope that things will get better. It's kind of heart breaking to see the city that once what is the most educated city in the country be a drug slum.
Seattle has become a microcosm of the Democrats wish for America. I don't live in Seattle and absolutely avoid it at all costs, because it has literally become a Shithole. This is what happens when you allow EXTREMIST Democrats to take over Politics in Washington State. You would not believe how crooked the Democrats are up here, You saw what it looks like in that Video and that's not bad enough, they want THOUSANDS maybe MILLIONS more people living in filth on the streets attacking people, robbing stores at random, shooting up Heroine and Meth and their only answer is WE WANT MORE OF THESE KIND OF PEOPLE even if they are an illegal Alien, because if they give them enough GIMMEE'S, they'll vote Democrat and continue to keep Democrats in POWER. It's sad to admit, but when I retire, I'm gone from this place, because I'm not sure enough Conservatives are in this area to turn this mess around and I know there are a lot better places to live then Freeattle. The Democratic Party has become an ignorant, stupid and evil party, because they don't care about Homeless people, they only care about votes and making this someone else's problem.

I think these people run tours that get cheap flights and rent dirty vans to drag people from red state trailer parks and go to places like Seattle, San Francisco and LA take right wing whiners to see feces, dirty needles and urine stained walls. I visit San Francisco, Seattle and Portland all the time and have lived in LA for 55 years. I really like all of those places. Maybe these urine tourists just don’t have anything better to do. Lol

Unfortunately, this is the plight of Democrat run cities high taxes, high crime, garbage, high number of homeless, drug addicts and their paraphernalia everywhere, illegals getting freebies while Americans suffer. Seattle's city council is STACKED with Democrats, but there is one council person by the name of Kshama Sawant who was born in India that has brought her Socialist Idealogy with her and the result is Freeattle and it's really begun to look more like a Shithole in India rather than the beautiful city it once was. People like her, Andrea Ocasio Cortez, ilhan Omar,,Rashida Tlaib want to bring MILLIONS of more non English speaking illegal Aliens into the United States to add to the ranks of what already is an OUT OF CONTROL Homeless problem in these Liberal cities. It's bad now, but if the Democrats have their way, it's going to be hundreds of times worse to the point it will NEVER be fixed. Build the DAMN! It's always interesting to read these doom and gloom threads - then you actually go to the city and find they are concentrating on about 1% of the city proper for their "proof" of impending crisis. Seems to be a conservative thing. If one gay guy commits a crime, it is "proof" that all gay guys are criminals. If one teacher makes a stupid remark, it is "proof" that all teachers are communists. If one homeless guy craps in public, it is "proof" that a city is in crisis. Whatever.
