    As Trump is being investigated for criminal misconduct to change the course of an election with the very folks suspected of helping him, Trump decides to go rogue, walking over to Putin for a one on one exchange, having to rely on Putin's translator for a one hour chat. Lol!

    Folks, you just can't make this stuff up.

    This has never been done before, for one thing, and of all folks, Trump goes to Putin.

    Those two should get a room.

    This is so screwed up on so many levels.

    When do we get to have a real president again, instead of this criminal, who is just in it for himself?

    This meeting was not secret nor uncommon.

    All leaders at the G20 have scheduled meetings and unscheduled discussions with other leaders at the G20 conference.

    This is another faux outrage by the alt-left anti-Trump ghouls.

    So Trump meets Putin for another meeting at the G20 Summit. A summit for the meeting of world leaders. What a concert!!

    Here is a news flash... Trump doesn't need your permission. He doesn't want your permission. He's there to have productive communications. They can room together for all I care if it makes the world a safer place.

    I can't believe how whacked out the left is with all this psychotic collusion conspiracy stuff. Serious psychological therapy is in order.

    Two identical new thread topics on Russia started by partisan Democrats on two different boards within 20 minutes.

    Both make the same absurd claim that President Trump and President Putin had a secret private meeting - in a room with over 100 people in it including the leaders and spouses from 19 other countries.

    This has to be stupidest attack against Trump to date. It also says alot about anyone who does anything but laugh at it. I bet the author the article laughed all while writing it, thinking "I bet there are people so gullible that I can write the most obviously false attack against Trump and they'll buy it. What can it? Oh, I got it! I'll write that Trump secretly met with Putin alone in the same room filled with witnesses and that was jam packed with world leaders, their spouses and the aids."

    - He had just had a 2-hour meeting with him already. What more to discuss?
    - He did not have an American translator with him, which was a breach of national security protocol (according to reports).
    - Russia interfered with American elections and there are a number of stories about Trump and Russia swirling around - at the very least the optics aren't good.
    - This was a long meeting - nearly an hour. Not just an exchange of pleasantries. It is reasonable to conclude that something substantive was discussed.

    Although in an "open" setting, this meeting provided Trump with an opportunity to discuss things with Putin privately. No-one else from the US administration was there to hear it. Not even a translator. This was a unique opportunity for Trump and Putin to discuss anything they wanted, without anyone listening in.

    So - what was it? It could have been meaningless - maybe talking about sports. Maybe Trump was telling Putin to stay the F out of American elections, and making that point very firmly. Maybe they took this unique opportunity to discuss some quid pro quo for Trump to return the seized properties to Russia. Maybe they were discussing how Trump would still get paid for being a shill, now that "the heat is on". It could have been anything.

    We will probably never know, but it does show one thing: Trump's poor judgement. In the current climate, for him to initiate that meeting was, at the very least, poor judgement. If he had important things to discuss with Putin he should have had someone with him who could independently confirm that the subject of the meeting was legitimate.

    He had no choice, he could not have any Americans around....he is after all owned by Putin.

    Imagine what he kisses for Putin behind closed doors.
    The Kremlin translator did, just think what Trump divulged.........he dropped his pants when the Russians were also in the Oval.
    The secrecy was the WH not divulging this meeting.

    But you still feel the need to post in the thread..........telling.

    Very uncommon. Research it. Also, Trump, the puppet, needed the one on one with the Russian Puppetmaster and his interpreter to get his instructions and divulge the country's secrets.

    Everyday it's another drip, drip, drip when it comes to this saga.

    Ya know, there are a hell of a lot of Trump supporters who have advocated that Trump and his team get ahead by publishing everything related to Russia. Surely you would think this strategy, besides the fact that it is PR 101, has gotten to the team and yet they are unwilling or unable to act on that plan.

    Is it because the story is really so vast? So nefarious? Or are they just led by an incompetent moron?

    My guess is all three.

    There is absolutely nothing positive about this story. He only had Putin's translator with him, and nobody else. But you want to know why he did it? Because he knew his supporters are too stupid to understand why it isn't a good idea. As long as they continue to blindly support everything he does without questioning him, he will take advantage of their child-like blindness and do whatever he can to help the Trump family brand.
