Is it possible that the testimony today was utter baloney mistaken? How could that be? The media was on this story, weren't they? The committee is bipartisan and as disciplined, transparent and professional as any committee ever has been, aren't they?

Somehow or other it seems that Putin has once again infiltrated America with insane propaganda designed to support Trump supporters and discredit Democrats! This can't be allowed to stand!

They don't need to. As I'm sure we'll find out in the morning, the committee already spoke with Engel and "verified his story".

Is it outside the realm of possibility for you to consider that she is being railroaded for speaking out about her knowledge of what happened that day?

Is it outside the realm of possibility that a former POTUS that constantly had public meltdowns, continues to malign and lambast anybody and everybody that won't kiss his backside, never has anything positive to say about anybody but himself and has a penchant for acting like a petulant child could have verbally abused and/or tried to force his security detail to do his bidding?

Is it outside the realm of possibility that we should consider the fact that none of his Secret Service detail had a darn thing to say until now and "conveniently" when he needs some back-up for his BS? We all know he's not a billionaire but he most assuredly has more cash than she does. So, there is no reason for her to face the firing squad and more reasons for them to line up to attack her testimony.

It doesn't take much to discredit a female or "assistant" but should that mean she is instantly discredited because of our double-standards and patriarchal society?

The jerkoff 6 committee will ignore it and refuse to let him testify.

We all sure as hell know that Hutchinson won't get charged with perjury.

If she lied under oath, she should pay the piper. She isn't above the law.

    Agreed.

However, neither is he and subjourning testimony is a crime.

Subjourning isn't even a word, much less a crime.

It might be a good idea for you to consult an online dictionary at this point.

"A source close to the Secret Service tells me"

A little birdie tells me that you shouldn't rush to condemn testimony given under oath based on some anonymous claim published to a blog on the internet, which in turn cites a tweet.

Let these alleged Secret Service personnel come forward and testify.

Um, just because some blog cites a tweet that claims an anonymous source said that there are a couple of guys prepared to testify to the contrary of what was said under oath does not mean that she was lying.

Hutchinson used hearsay in her testimony.

On this point, at least, yes. It would seem that this is being used against her now to attack her credibility. She is telling the truth if she was indeed told about this as she claimed, but ideally the one who told her should be up there giving testimony under oath.

If her testimony was false, then of course her credibility is in question. It damn well should be.

The committee's credibility will absolutely shot, because they would have verified the information long before now. If it's false, they might as well break camp and go home.

Again, if she was told this as she testified, then she was telling the truth.

I wonder if someone told her that just to set this kind of thing up, though. You can't trust anybody in the Swamp.

The agents testimony under oath concerning whether Trump did or did not attempt to grab the wheel of the vehicle is largely an irrelevancy. Whether he attempted to grab the wheel or not doesn't matter. The only thing that would matter was any conversation they had with Trump around the time the incident allegedly occurred and whether or not that conversation pertained to the matters the committee is investigating. In other words context.

Trump can grab all the steering wheels he wants, yell at all the people he wants and send all the texts etc he wants. All that matters is whether or not those actions, words or documents relate to the matter being investigated. If not who cares?

    She lied.

“Both Bobby Engel, the lead agent, and the presidential limousine/SUV driver are prepared to testify under oath that neither man was assaulted and that Mr. Trump never lunged for the steering wheel,” Mr. Alexander posted on Twitter."
