Wow the push for amnesty keeps coming!

Senate approves path to citizenship for Liberians facing deportation
The U.S. Senate on Tuesday approved the 2020 National Defense Authorization Act, which included an amendment that offered a path to American citizenship for Liberians currently under Deferred Enforced Departure (DED) status. The $768 billion spending package, which passed the House last week and President Donald Trump has said he will sign, would prevent the deportation of many Liberians that was set to take place after March 31.

So if Trump signs this he'll be signing an amnesty bill.

America feels bad because Liberia is really falling apart and America has a special responsibility to Liberia, having founded the country (around 1821-1847).
This was probably one of the things they threw in to get Democrats to agree to the bill, so Democrats will have a small victory on that front.

When you control one of the Houses of Congress, you end up having a lot of sway what goes into bills.
