Trump and Sessions have the Democrats heads spinning.

Trump and Sessions are toying with the Democrats with this whole "Trump bashing Sessions" charade.

Trump has masterfully got the Democrats right where he wants them.

The Democrats want Sessions left in place.

And now for the left hook.

Sessions is planning to announce leak investigations.

Except the leaks are more than likely coming from Trump's inner circle. Let the investigation begin. It will be a hoot to see.

Why is Durbin blocking something that is just a rumor? Could it be the DNC believes their own nonsense?

Firing Sessions would have no impact on the Russian election investigation as he recused himself... 1) Durbin believes all the nonsense floating around and cant use common sense anymore 2) Durbin knows his base doesnt care about facts just rhetoric and perception..

Both are worrisome.

 

Sessions is being fired? Says who? Right now its a rumor all based on Trump venting. Did it ever cross your mind that you guys are being played? Durbins off the wall comment looks that way.

Strange i dont recall Durbin being worried about The President being "above the law" then.

 

I really don't understand this. The Democrats didn't want Sessions to become AG. They used delaying tactics and when confirmation vote was finally taken 47 of the 48 senate Democrats voted against confirmation of Sessions. Only Joe Manchin voted for confirmation. If Trump gets rid of Session, one way or the other, the Democrats should be jumping up and down with joy.

It is much like with Comey, the Democrats wanted him gone also and some like Schumer and Reid were trying to get Obama to fire him right after the election calling Comey a stooge for the Republican Party. Then the Democrats became holier than thou when Trump obliged the Dems by firing Comey.

 

Durbin's comments come at a time when Trump has repeatedly and blisteringly criticized Sessions, one of his early and loyal campaign supporters, for his decision to recuse himself from the ongoing Russia interference investigation.

His public roastings of the Justice Department chief has fueled buzz that Trump could ask for Sessions' resignation, even though it could be the president venting his frustration out in the open.

I love how the right keeps saying there is no "there, there" and yet they are doing everything they can to stop an investigation that they claim "is a witch hunt". Why not let it go if there is nothing there ?
