That should have been twice for W., twice for Obama and once for Trump.
To do that would require a fluctuation of ideology.
My old policy is to vote for incumbents if things are going well, so I could see a Gore voter flipping to W. in 2004, then going by ideology for Obama and Trump for hate of Hillary. That person would go with Trump this year because things are good except this panic.
If you voted for W. twice (as I did) then Obama in 2008 it might be because you don't want an old President. If you voted for Obama in 2012 it's because "too old" includes age 65. Then with 70 versus 69 you might flip a coin.
If your goal is change, W. represented change in 2000, Obama in 2008, and Trump in 2016, but shouldn't you have gone with Kerry in 2004 and Romney in 2012?
On personality rather than policy you would have chosen W. twice and Obama twice, but they're both nice guys. There was no nice choice in the top 2 last time.
Biden's hoping to win on niceness alone since he has no platform.
Those who go with policy usually pivot on abortion, taxes and foreign policy. If abortion wins, it's Republican or Democrat Presidents every time, but that might yield to something else in lower races. If taxes is the big issue, there's not much doubt this time, depending on whether the last law change worked out. If you want a strong defense, you probably went GOP all the way. If you want a weak defense the Democrats are more to your liking.
If you want only a good President, does good mean virtue, leadership, experience? Who wins any race at any level this year on any of those 3 items?

Trump's election represents more than hatred of Hillary, he was elected by the frustration of voting year after year and watching the country continue to drift left. We have had two Presidents in my memory who pushed the idea that America was in decline, and that we should understand our new role as other countries and organizations like the UN took over world leadership. Those were Jimmy Carter and Barrack Obama. Carter gave us Reagan and Obama gave us Donald Trump. Now Donald Trump is no Ronald Reagan but he has done pretty well as Donald Trump. It will be a terrible injustice if this damn virus were to cause him to lose in November because the line is clearly drawn and it is socialism vs capitalism. A system that has failed every place it is tried vs the one that restored the world after WW2 and the good guys are on a precarious perch today. The choice is clear and Americans will own the result of this election for generations whichever direction we choose to go.

Since Biden is beating anders and Warren socialism is not taking a step forward this year. Biden of course has no agenda. He represents 4 years of inaction. That's a good thing, but a second term President going against a hostile Congress usually gives us 4 years of inaction. We all need a time out, like we did 100 years ago.
    Normalcy forever!

Always amazed at how Democrats would let themselves be insulted by their candidates who seem to believe all they care about is race and gender when it comes to electing people. She was a laughingstock across the country and made it worse in the aftermath of her losing.

Maine Democrat Sara Gideon Killed Bills Outlawing Female Genital Mutilation.
It’s always about the payouts with these folks and never about protecting the kids.
Well, Biden's a genius, with Georgia in the bag, he decided to broaden the map by going after CA.
