The House is expected to vote to send the articles of impeachment tomorrow, and send them to the Senate either tomorrow evening or Thursday morning. McConnell says he expects to start the trial next Tuesday. It's about time to get this show over with and move on to the election.
Some recent and general updates that pertain to the Senate Trial Apparently Trump allies are still trying to push for the Motion to Dismiss even though McConnell just said that there is "little or no Sentiment" for such a motion. I have also seen quotes from Senator Roy Blunt that he believes it is unlikely the trial will be concluded before the State of the Union is given on February 4th. One reason is because Susan Collins is reportedly working with a small group of GOP Senators to permit witnesses. At least three have publicly said they would like to hear from John Bolton. Polls suggest that anywhere from 60-75% of Americans would like to hear from John Bolton as well.
Trump will be acquitted because the House did not include any high crimes or misdemeanors in the articles.
Would be good to trade John Bolton's testimony against testimonies by Biden Jr. and the pencilneck. Don't you think so?
Sorta, had he lost he definitely wouldn’t have been impeached. But since he won, and he’s a conman, he got himself impeached.
A long Senate trial will hurt several Democrats and help creepy uncle Joe. Democrats don't understand that the MSM has covered up for him for a long time and are unaware of his hair sniffing ways to say the least. Mayor Pete will be his VP and joe will take a dive early on if he wins.
I suspect he will be the head guy, although I don't know who else they will have or how they will divvy the work up... Trump on Trial... about ****ing time... even if the fix is in, it has a nice ring to it... I suspect it won't be the last time that phrase will be used either...
Write your Senator... get them to explain it to you... .nobody on here give a hoot that it's something you are unclear on...
At one point Trump seemed to think he needed to commit a high crime AND a misdemeanor. As if he can’t be impeached for murder unless they also got him on a public drunkenness wrap also lol
