Why have a SAT when they have entrance exams more specified to actual knowledge of the student of a certain subject they can see deficiencies in so they can place the student in the correct class..

 

Eliminating the SAT might place high scorers at a disadvantage compared to the system that takes its place but it is not discrimination against Asians as it applies to all equally. Now if that new system scores by race you have a point — otherwise...

 

never too late for one to find other methods of stress relief then beating a man, but this cop should do the time for any crimes he committed first imo

 

Actually, it's 10.8% and growing and they spent $50 million in lobbying last year alone. That's a pretty powerful voice.

One of the primary reasons colleges view STA's as valuable is because of grade inflation as the public sector GPA scoring has in essence moved the goal post, which created a new flood of high GPA's, but the quality of work is the same as prior years which were graded lower. I work for a major institution and SAT's are critical in acceptance into our institution.
