What's the point of these threads? Are you really so ignorant that you only care about other christians, or are you just posting this crap, to prove to your white christian brothers, that Africa is evil, and nobody should visit?

Last year, 1 million children under the age of 5 died because of starvation in Nigeria. Let me guess you've not posted about those deaths have you? In fact, I don't think you care about Nigeria, at all

Just more Christian Identity BS about how the powerful need to be protected from the weak and down-trodden.

I'd really like to see the case study on that. Are we equivocating 'starvation' with 'malnutrition' and 'disease'? Case study, please?

    More Islamist-style interfaith outreach...

JOS, NIGERIA (BosNewsLife) — Islamic fighters have shot dead Christians in a roadside ambush near Nigeria’s central city of Jos, church representatives said Monday, September 2.

Those killed in the attack, four kilometers (2.5 miles) off the Jos-Barkin Kadi Highway, were members of a Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN) congregation in the nearby town of Foron, according to church officials.

The Christians had been ordered out of a minibus and forced to lay on the ground before being shot last Thursday, August 29, because of their faith, the COCIN denomination leadership and a witness said.

Those killed were identified as Pam Gyang, 33, Felix John, 32, as well as Jimmy Tiger, 28, Ishaku Gyang, 40, and Dachung Monday, 20.

Islamic Boko Haram kills 44 villagers and gouges out eyes of the surviors

An official of the National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, said officials of the agency counted at least 44 corpses in Tuesday’s attack by suspected members of the Boko Haram.

Residents told aide workers who visited the troubled area that about 50 armed men stormed their village and embarked on a killing spree using knives.

“Those who did not die were left with their eyes gorged out with knives, and several others seriously injured,” said the NEMA official, who doesn’t want to be quoted as he was not authorized to speak to the press yet.

“Many people were displaced because the Boko Haram set their houses ablaze, though we cannot say how many. We are going to Baga village on Saturday to set up camps for the displaced,” the official added.

“As I am speaking to you now, Red cross officials and the Medicine Sans Frontier are attending to the injured victims. The village has been deserted and the people are now taking refuge at the Baga central primary school.”

Journalists have been unable to confirm the incident since Wednesday due to lack of communication networks, which has been grounded in the state in the last three months.

Christians Flee Marauding Muslims in Africa’s ‘Forgotten Crisis’
November 26, 2013 -- The Central African Republic (CAR) is “descending into complete chaos,” becoming a breeding ground for extremists and threatening to sink into religious and ethnic conflict that could spread through an already troubled region, the U.N. Security Council was told on Monday.
