So you did NOT say, "No, forced sterilizations are barbaric and against all that means "human rights". They turn women into nothing more than slaves and should never be allowed."

Gee, you forgot to say the truth.... what happened??

No, the argument is whether a woman has control over her own body or should that control be turned over to you because YOU DON'T APPROVE.

Tell you what. When the anti-women types are ready to toss their collective doodles on the table in front of me and MY MORALIZING...
Maybe, just maybe, you've an argument.
    No, I lied, you don't.
It is the difference between Anti-Women types CHOOSING to sacrifice their personalities, and that decision being forced on women.
    You still lose.

Nope rather that homicides should not be allowed at the whim of one person!
Any homicide that society allows should be subject to oversight!

Actually, since the OP included the idea is single mothers in his premise, it appropriate to counter his one point with another another of his point to show how he is contradicting himself.

That said, I have made do demands on "allowing" or not. That is your straw man, something you seem versed it. Calling you out on your misreadings or intentional straw mans (for I am not sure which they are) is wholly different from claims of.what is and isn't allowed.

I'm not making any rules. I am noting where you are making straw man statements.

You are correct in that I have not directly stated that. But have you bothered to noticed that I am trying to get Kaz to show where any bodily "privileges" exist at all. I'm am so sorry that you can't appreciate that I am trying to work him around to denouncing his own premise by his own words, or a at a minimum, be able to support any type of bodily "privilege" before showing the his specific one exists. All you are doing is engaging in a "Is not!" "Is too!" argument. I'm laying down logic steps and demanding proof of his assertions.

Why are you addressing my post as if I am not pro choice?

    Not "homo" not homicide.

Your argument like this entire thread is invalid.

    YOU STAND DENIED

    Both morally and legally.

So what makes abortion homicide and not taking someone off machines and letting them die? Or for that matter, how would refusing to give blood or an organ that would save their life not also be homicide?

    Addressing your post as anti-woman.

Perhaps you should review your positions.

You mean my position that a woman, or anyone who manages to get pregnant for that matter, has the right to choose whether or not she ends her pregnancy, and that bodily autonomy is the basis upon which that right is predicated? Or that by the same basis, she is allowed to choose what goes into, remains in, or is removed from her body, assuming she finds someone willing to perform the procedure if one is necessary? What about that position do you feel needs reviewing?

    What you wrote earlier.

Look, either you responded to the wrong post, since I can't find another post, or you forgot what you wrote, or you wrote it so badly that you failed to present your own position.

Nothing you wrote here that drew a response from me is remotely like what you claim as a position.

:) 18 pages and NO one can tell us what "uterus privilege " is or where it came from or even why it should exist...

Happily, RvW is safe and intact and no chance of going away....:) :) :) :) ...so pffft on this ...! :)

I believe that you may be mistaking my calling out straw man arguments and other errors as my position, especially since I'm calling them out on people who have the same conclusion I have. For example, Kaz has made the premises that if a woman has an abortion x number of times (with no actual definition or value for x no less), then she should be forced to have a hysterectomy. Fox had, at one point, made her argument that women should not be forced to gestate. That is a straw man position since the premises is not about forced gestation. There have been other posts where she has made her argument about women should not be forced to do anything with their bodies, to which I didn't counter, since that is an argument that can apply to multiple situations and does not straw man the OP premise.

Bodily autonomy has long been my base reasoning behind the right of a person to get an abortion, or any procedure for that matter. Any argument as to whether the ZEF is a person or not, or has rights are not are, IMO, moot points because the right of bodily autonomy still overrides all. Doesn't mean I won't poke holes in people's arguments when they bring the topics up. Just that neither side of the argument has anything that would override bodily autonomy.

If you feel what I wrote represents a position other than what I claim, then by all means quote my words, and show me how they show that. It would not be the first time I would have to admit to poor word choice, and I'm willing to do so again. But you have to show me first.

How about by an actual doctor?
Oops, that's no longer the case in four states.

No. No mistake. Since you deleted the post to which I responded the assumption is that you are intentionally trying to back off from your ugliness.

    Try this.

"I was wrong when I said that thing. I apologise."

    It's called accepting responsibility.

Doctor or not abortion has oversight... and THAT was MY ACCURATE statement no matter how YOU take it.

Back that up please? Or are you going to take to calling that which you initiated as "off topic" again?

LOL! I deleted that post because I replied to an older posts as if it were a lot newer and thus the context in which I initially answered it was not valid. That's the only post in which I deleted, and even then did so immediately. So it's not like I went back after other things were said to cover tracks.

Still, are you seriously going to try to claim that in this entire thread, there is only one single post that shows I have been arguing other than my stated position? I find that highly unlikely. So once again, I invite you to show me what I have said that contradicts my stated position. Good luck

You deleted the referenced post then tried to start some crapfest over its contents.

So, yeah, tried to cover tracks.

If you don't want to stand by it, don't hit that post button.

Are you referring to post #350 at the bottom of page 14? Because that is the only post that I deleted and immediately after posting it at that. You can't delete anything after a certain amount of time.

Again, I can't imagine how I can go through an entire thread without creating more than one post that counters my claimed position. If you truly feel I'm that good to only have made the one mistake, then you are severely overestimating me.

It's covered in the "Late-term Abortion made legal in NY thread" (and related threads).

They changed their laws so a doctor is not required to do late-term abortions. The doctor doesn't have to diagnose the woman or directly supervise the procedure either. They don't supervise treatment of specific patients, but there is a doctor to supervise the general activities of the entire clinic, but he still wouldn't be involved in the specifics of each patient.

This is another example of you not reading. First of all the post is still physically there, and reads "ignore posted in error". So you can certainly "why yes! that is the post that I am referring to that you deleted the words that contradicted your claimed position!" Secondly, are you seriously trying to say that in 18 pages of posts that I only made a single post that ran counter to my claimed position? That I am somehow pretending for an entire thread to put forth a position, i.e. pro-choice, but I am actually the opposite and I have managed to not said anything that betrays my actual position?

For that matter, if the post is deleted, and it was done so within minutes of posting, how would you even know what it was about? Or are you just assuming that because it was deleted that it contained some kind of contrary message?
