Should all nations in which Ivana, Jr., and Eric have had business dealings investigate them?

Throughout the history of the US, it has been traitorous for politicians to demand "favors" of foreign powers to interfere, on that candidate's behalf, in America's elections, but "ELECTORAL GLOBALISM" - having made its debut in the 2016 presidential contest - has recently been fully embraced under Trumpery, at first, covertly, amidst strident fake denials, with Ukraine, and then, quite blatantly and unabashedly, with China.

Of course, only a squatting POTUS wields implicit threats and bribes needed to command compliance with the dirt digging he demands (in the absence of any credible evidence from his own impressive investigative and law enforcement agencies.)

Rather than the half-assed, sporadic overtures of Trump's solicitations, I suggest that the United States formally appeal to all the signatory nations of the Paris Climate Accord, all 197 of them, to delve into any and all money-making schemes in which the Trumps (and Jared, of course) has been implicated, as the paradigm for all future US presidential elections.

It should that all are fair game for rigorous examination. The problem is that this is NOT the way these things are even approached.

Example: Biden's kid is the OBVIOUS recipient of billions of dollars in 'shake-down' money and influence-peddling abroad, engineered by top-level Democrat manipulators and politicians.

Now, if any high-level Republicans have been doing the same kind of thing as Geriatric Joe and his kid, then LET THE HAMMER FALL ON THEM -- if the Democrats are treated the SAME WAY. Don't hold your breath....

If it was a detached third cousin or something, I could see it falling outside the blinders of the Trump supporters. But his children and SiL, that's too close and they'll have to oppose it as it will be covered by the blanket of blindness they all sewed up in 2016 with their Trump vote.

It's a political elite class thing: automatic high positions and money for doing nothing for their children.

It's a swamp thing.

The Trumps already had beaucoup money when they arrived in Washington, D.C., so they didn't have a need to throw in with the swampers.

 

Any that the business relationship started after Trump's candidacy should be investigated. (and why not investigate every elected official in the federal government's kids)

 

Pretending that Trumpspawn are immune to criminal investigations by any nation in which they have sought to profit at any time is silly.

This is about corruption, not politics.

With no evidence? Should routinely calling upon foreign nations to target rival US politicians' children - whether as a "favor" where one withholds allocated aid or otherwise - become as perfunctory as releasing one's promised tax returns?

 

If there is no evidence, then any charges against the accused would fall flat and the accusers would be made to look like complete FOOLS. That's why instead of going down the rabbit trails of 'who-done-what', I suggest instead essentially the same thing I suggested for the big hurricane of conjecture about 'the big Russia conspiracy' -- which is simply -- let charges be filed, and let there be a TRIAL.

All this blubbering, unending mummery involving every kind of wild-assed speculation is nothing but a harmful distraction and waste of time.

Thus, if there's a valid reason to charge Joe or Donald or Hunter or Invanka with a crime, then LET THE CHARGES BE BROUGHT! If not, then it's time to shut the hell up and move on....

 

I would prefer that American presidents not withhold allocated funds from nations in need and then ask a "favor" of that nation's president that a political rival's children be investigated, especially where there is no evidence of any crimes having been committed.

Investigate away, if some one did something wrong they should be punished if they did not then there is no news. If a Biden or a Trump is pedaling influence we should know. That is why I have no problem with Trumps phone call to the Ukraine and why I would have no problem with China investigating Ivanka.
