I think the US should go party politics, so the people vote for the political party. The party is free to hire and fire it's leader. If the leader fails a vote of no confidence, the party re-elects it's new leader.

Edit - I voted yes because I've never seen a political side go so insane over someone. It would be fun to watch that again. But Americans go by character as opposed to policies and results, that's why Trump was disliked and you guys like someone that has never delivered anything. It's called, "Cutting your nose of to spite your own face".

As usual, it depends entirely on the other options. I'd prefer another JFK or Ike, but since people of those caliber dont run anymore, I'd certainly take a Trump over a Biden.

Depends whether you want to move further towards the flux or remain a nation respected and quietly working with its allies.
A man so full of his own ego cannot govern for the good of others.

I saw a listing of our best/worst Presidents in history and Donald Trump was near the very end. I think only James Buchanan was judged worse.
I need to read up on James Buchanan---he must have been pretty bad.

I voted no. He did some good things, but the constant screaming from the media and certain other groups detracted from people in general enjoying the overall positive morale. I guess the purpose of the childish tantrums was fulfilled.

I don't vote by party, I vote by the person. I sincerely hope the Dems can do better then Biden/Harris, or the GOP is going to have a shoe-in for anyone but a member of the Trump family.

Not just no but hell no. I won’t vote for him again, ever! The SOB attacked gun rights worse than any president in the last two decades. I won’t vote for Biden either. It will be third party for me.

I would prefer to have a candidate who has Trump-like policies who isn’t Trump.

I don’t believe Trump can win, but I think most of his policies were right.

This board is a good example of that. Most anti-Trumpers dislike the guy because of his personality, and that’s understandable. They have a much harder time attacking his stance on policy issues however.

The Biden administration is a policy train wreck. I think people will be ready for a change by 2024, but the Republicans have to nominate someone other than Trump if they hope to win.

    I voted no.

Inevitably I see Trump from an international perspective.
If I can peer through the thick fog of the European press and set aside what Europeans consider "leadership", I have to say the damage done to his European allies was serious and potentially very serious.
He used tariffs to try to manoeuvre Europe into his way of thinking.
He dismissed environmental issues out of hand, potentially making effort to control the climate here more difficult. In fact at times he acted directly against global climate efforts. He even tried to threaten the unity of NATO at one point.
He used his "scottish mother" to impress but if she was actually scottish she would not have approved. Scots tend not to brag about geneological lineage. Though I have to say Biden does the same with his "Irishness". The only people who care are his voters. Not his allies.
His blatant nationalism goes completely against the European instinct to work together to solve problems.
His entire model does not play well amongst his allies...from pushing ahead for a photoshoot to walking in front of the Queen of GB. Europe appreciates a more nuanced display of power and etiquette. We would say he is all mouth and no trousers. Very shallow and didn't command any real respect. He merely demanded it. Other countries really don't like it.

Lols! 15 no and 5 yes

that is a three to one ratio and people STILL believe he was popular enough to have won the last election?

Yes.... I am ninety nine percent certain that President Trump got in the range of eighty million votes to a mere "campaign from his basement" Joe Biden... who probably got only around sixty million votes. Biden did what his computer experts told him to do........ campaign from the basement....................... People around him were telling him to trust them..... .which made their skills more valuable!!!!!

I voted 'don't know', because I don't know who the candidates for the next election are yet....

Some other candidates could be signicantly better, and, some could be tremendously worse -- as we saw in 2020, and in 2016, too!

Thus, I did vote for Trump twice, but that's only because the Democrats nominated such CHUNKS of DUNG for the two highest offices in the United States.

Hint: the Republicans (no, I'm not one of them) could conceivably pick someone a hell of a lot better for the country in 2024 than Donald Trump!

I can only imagine who put that list together. My list would have Obama as the worst and Biden second worst.

So out of the planets population that can see this poll, and 20 voted, you find that a success? Interesting thought process.

The only trouble with the poll, someone could yes and no, because it depends who Trump is running against. So imagine in the next election, it's a Trump v Hillary all over again, I would see this poll's result to be different.
