I say no, I think he is too divisive a figure, too old and he cannot use social media to further his cause due to his various bans. He should be the Kingmaker, throwing his support behind whichever candidate he sees fit (Desantis is the obvious choice).

The trumpers will vote for him. There are still a number of Republicans who aren't trumpers who won't vote for him. If a reasonable secure voting can be accomplished I don't see trump winning. I'm a little optimistic that more and more Repubs are gradually realizing truthfully what he's been doing.

I know it's up in the air but I've got a plan B if trump wins. I'm 87 so if he does pull off a victory I probably won't give a s***. Who said there weren't advantages to aging? :)

Too many independents dislike Trump the person, the man. If he were to run again in 2024, he'd call someone a name, throw a temper tantrum, create some needless feud, act the schoolyard bully, do something that would bring back all the memories of why independents disliked him so much that caused them to vote for Biden. The Republican Party is the smaller of the two major parties, hence the GOP must win the independent vote or lose the election.

The voters have had a taste of Trump, his in your face tactics were novel back in 2016, they weren't in 2020 and wouldn't be in 2024. I've always said that it was Trump's obnoxious, uncouth, rude personality, his very unpresidential behavior that lost him the election in 2020, that lost him the independent voter support. It wasn't his policies, but the way he presented himself and the way he behaved.

Trump held the office of the presidency and voters, especially independents expected him to uphold the dignity of that office. Not to behave like some WWE wrestler in a pre-fight interview or the TV reality show host he was. Trump was, is a very easy man to dislike. History has shown folks usually don't vote for someone they dislike. Had Trump had the personality of a Reagan, even a Bill Clinton or an Obama, I'm sure he would have won reelection fairly easily. He doesn't, didn't and he won't in 2024. Long way to say no, but there you have it.

If Republicans split their vote they will lose. There is a lot about Trump to dislike but there was a lot of what he did that was positive and yet I defy you to google any praise for his policies. As for Biden, what can I say. He is an alternative and ............... oh my. Republicans might find they have a big case of buyers remorse if they choose more of what the Biden cabal is selling.

I like that Trump gets the dem vote out, but not worth the risk, 4 more years of Trump would be disastrous

If he runs in 2024 we will have a full blown civil war going on by 2025. He won't win and it won't even be close but it won't matter, the election will just be a pretext for Trump to say he SHOULD be President and this may be totally independent of how he does in the election anyway. He is, after all, the savior of the country and if we're not smart enough to see that, well, Republicans never liked the hoi polloi anyway.

He won't win that either but the country will suffer greatly

I don't think he has what it takes to square off vs the global authoritarian collectivists and their corporate media lapdogs. But then again, who is the alternative? I'll take four more years of Trump and the media bashing their heads together over four years of another establishment shill remote control authoritarian bill signer.

I personally think that he will be back soon as the nineteenth President of the Republic of the United States of America but.....
if Biden will agree to do what he is told...
by him and by his team.... then....
perhaps waiting a few months longer could be arranged.....
but I believe that President Trump should move against all of those who stole the 2020 USA election within days......
because whoever his telling Biden what to do seems to be intent on creating hyper inflation in America.

Two factors are needed to create a situation of hyper inflation.

    1. print a ton of extra money
2 DECREASE PRODUCTIVITY......... (BIDEN IS DOING BOTH)!?
    3. i GUESS a third relevant factor could be to create the type of panic that emptied store shelves of toilet paper a few months ago...... (seventy container ships off the coast of California waiting to be unloaded is a good way to set the stage for panic).....

    Good points.....
President Donald J. Trump deserves credit for laying a foundation for an economic boom in the Middle East that could play a huge role in stopping the world economy from going into a Bear Market, (another 1929).

    Nope.

It's time, past time actually, to end the duopoly. I sure don't want the dregs that the Democrats seem to want to put up, and I disagree with about 99 of 100 policies they are currently promoting. I don't want any of the weasels the Republicans have been petting, and they are running a pretty close second on policies that give me heartburn.

Unfortunately, I'm not seeing a whole bunch of anybody that looks like they would be close to where I think this country should head. Except maybe one....

I'd be an order of magnitude MORE okay with Tom Cotton another smart Conservative person on it.

I'm an old guy, but I'll tell all of you straight-up -- we need younger people now, with less baggage and better ideas to lead this country!

More than anything else, we desperately need leaders right now who don't HATE this country, and the people, values, and Constitution who actually did make us GREAT... 'once-upon-a-time'....

I agree with you that we need youth in our politics on both sides but the youth today scares the hell out of me politically. Still, our current leadership reminds me of the old Soviets during the fall.

I definitely agree with the last part. I dont find age a problem as long as it's a good person though.

    I’m a maybe.
First of all, he’ll be 77/78. He will be able to be effective, but not as effective as the old trump.
Second off all, being Prez is a very suffocating role because you are hemmed in by the deep state, lobbyists paying off your party allies, and crises requiring immediate and miraculous attention.
The head of the RNC (as well as the DNC) are nothing more than glorified fund raisers. I can see him taking the RNC position and becoming a national voice pushing back on Socialists and progressives.
He can have a blast playing kingmaker in 2022, in the midst of an unhappy country in crisis.
Lastly, DeSantis or whoever, has an eight year potential rather than four.

I was being tactful. I've often referred to Trump as acting like a spoiled four year old brat with his name calling and throwing of temper tantrums along with his 3rd grade schoolyard bullying tactics. I really don't know what folks see in him. Okay, they like his message. But there were and are many of Republicans who have the same message, only they possess a likable personality and behave like most people think a president should. Someone with the dignity the office of the presidency deserves.

It blows my mind that most republicans don't understand or recognize it is the man, the individual that is disliked. Not necessarily his policies by independents. This was pointed out in poll after poll after poll for everyone to see. Yet they seem blind to it. It doesn't take a political rocket scientist to understand this, just someone to open their eyes.

I don't get the impression very many Republicans really like him. They just need to stay out of his crosshairs because of the more rabid cultists covering his back. It's totally toxic and counterintuitive but one would like to think there is at least maybe, say, FIVE other strong Republicans who could lead the flock to victory without having to kiss the Orange ring but...they get what they paid for - an incompetent, lazy, pathological liar, cheating narcissist. Sounds like a ton of co-dependency to me.
