I thought his was a good post. And I agree with him that if we all just went with what the Almighty gave us, then this tempest in a teapot would blow over. Am I inconsistent? Maybe. My own post was, I think, that I don't care as much about restrooms (with private stalls) as I do shower rooms, changing rooms and locker rooms where people parade around. Men don't really care who comes into their restrooms. At least I never saw a story where a man was offended by a woman coming in as something like this: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.fo...mca-demanding-trans-employee-leave-locker.amp Or this: https://www.google.com/amp/s/cbsaus...m-shower-school-district-faces-legal-scrutiny Or even worse, this: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.da...rand-jury-not-finding-school-responsible.html Men and women are very different, as evidenced by their relative incarceration rates and sex assault convictions. I am far more afraid a random guy on the street at night than I am of a woman, and women should be also, except more so. Is imply don't believe anyone who says the contrary, and tattoos prejudice against men, which is not unreasonable bigotry z should be carried into this trans bathroom insanity discussion. I don't know what evasion you're referring to. It sounds to me like you are just frustrated that I don't see things as you do. I'm not the only one, you know (look at the poll results; is everyone who disagrees with you a bigot?) Now, if a person is biologically female and currently passes for a man due to surgery and hormones and steroid injections, that is, trying to look different from how they would normally develop, sure, they'll likely make natural women uncomfortable with their appearance and the women could justifiably complain about it, even though the person is actually female, just as a bank robber with a fake gun makes bank tellers as scared as a bank robber with a real gun. I don't fault the bank teller or the normal women for freaking out. And no, I'm not saying trans people are just like bank robbers. But the answer to the problem involves loving your body as it is and leaving it alone, unless you have some genuine, natural disfigurement. The answer is not demanding that the overwhelming majority of people change their customs to accommodate a few outliers in society. It's not calling them names, either. For the sake of peace, conciliation, we all of us yield to majority preference. If we don't like it, we live elsewhere or we just endure it. I happen to hate gas powered leaf blowers, you don't know how much, but I have to endure them because I can't get my city council to outlaw them. And guess why I can't. Obviously this doesn't apply to inarguable victims of constitutional rights, but that's not what's at risk with sex-segregated bathrooms and locker rooms. Now, should the majority of normal women accept that some women just happen to appear masculine instead of assuming that they have XY chromosomes? Absolutely. Are they also entitled to be concerned that a trans woman is just a voyeuristic man in a dress? Absolutely.
I would have wanted that person to have sought psychiatric help for her problem. She's a woman with a beard and tattoos. The thing is, toilets have always been based on biological sex, male and female. The gender brigade claim that everything about them is gender, not biological sex, so what's your issue all of a sudden with toilets?
Conservatives are so anti-sex they have to turn every single issue into that. Their opposition to abortion comes from their opposition to sex and their opposition to the LGBTQ community also comes from that. In my opinion, Conservatives have completely lost it and are now, more clearly than ever, the number one enemy of individual rights. Heck, outlets like Daily Wire now look no different from the Tumblr TERF blogs of the past where every damn article is about this "issue". My God.
He's afraid he might get turned on and thus being proven that this question is actually far more complicated than he likes it to be. I do not find this topic that interesting at all, to be honest and I also realise we - and especially I - do not fully grasp it yet. There was a time when homosexuality was regarded the same way as transsexuality is today. I know some weirdo on the right will now quote this and write a ridiculous reply like "mUh, wHaT iF yOuR 7 YeAr OlD dAuGhTeR hAs To sEe a GrOwN mAn'S C-cK? HuH?" Sooo friggen boring.
You're right. The birthrate in the deep south and in Utah has dropped to zero because no one is having sex.
They have been mutilated. Castrated as well. I guess that would be alright. I would have pity on those individuals and I guess most would not object. They are not women, however. They are mutilated men. Eunichs in Bible times were made that way so they could be trusted around the Royal Highness. I guess we could trust them to relieve themselves in mens restrooms. Goes the same for women who have had an addadictomy.
