Do you suppose that if a mail in vote package makes its way to mexico that anyone would notice? If a motor vehicle license is granted to a non citizen, and they register to vote at the same time, and illegally register, who's looking for those folks? In states like CA and NY, who at the state level is working to ensure this doesn't happen? And if the mail in vote is sent to a residence in the US, but is forwarded out of the country, who monitors for that? I think democrats understand these problems, they just are intentionally ignoring them.
That I know, there is no country in the world that allows non-citizens to vote except for lawful permanent residents in local races like for school boards. Of course, no illegal alien should be allowed to vote, and isn't, already. The idea that illegal aliens vote, out of some rare fringe cases, is preposterous, like when Trump said that 3 million of them voted in California with no reality bases whatsoever, and his committee disbanded without finding a single case. Illegal aliens typically want to keep a low profile and would not be willing to expose themselves to deportation by committing a federal felony while trying to impersonate someone else to vote. And it's so far-fetched! Can you imagine Mr. Juan Gonzales, Mexican, short, brown-skinned, Native Mexican-looking, with broken English, presenting to a precinct to try to vote on behalf of Mr. Patrick O'Donnell, deceased, tall, very white, Irish-American, and a US-born native English speaker? Depict the scene: "Me gringo Patrick O'Donnell, me quiero - I mean, wanna vote." To which the unsuspecting official would say "Oh, glad to see you, Mr. O'Donnell; here is your ballot, go right ahead and vote; nothing suspicious here!" LOL And I'm not saying so out of any sympathy for illegal aliens. I think they all belong in a detention center and a deportation flight. But to suppose that they try to vote in any significant number that would influence races? Ridiculous...
Yeah, right. How many cases of voting fraud have you identified, using the above methods? As a matter of fact there was a prominent case, the one involving a Republican candidate for one of the federal House of Representatives districts in North Carolina. He got caught. Had to step down and another candidate took his place (and won; it was a red district, it's hard to know why this idiot still tried to commit fraud as he would have won if he hadn't tried to play dirty).
No. Its a right of citizenship. You have to go through the process to be naturalized, or be a native borne citizen. But that also means I believe as long as you are a citizen of the US, you should not lose your right to vote.
I'm in favor of giving illegal aliens a path to citizenship, but only American citizens should be voting in elections.
