    To vote one must be a citizen of legal age and have residence in the district doing the voting. Registration is about the only way to assure that.

    The People elect the Sheriff to enforce the law in a manner The People find constitutional. The Sheriff hires deputies who will enforce the law in that same manner.

    Do you think immigration Sanctuary Cities are 'supporting anarchy'?

    We aren't mob ruled. The people do not gets to decide what is constitutional, and what is not. If a law officer can't enforce law he disagree with, he doesn't belong in law enforcement.

    I've said elsewhere I do not support santuary cities.

    As expected, the pro 2A crowd on here STILL doesn't have any solutions (other than the already debunked garbage touted by the NRA) to curb or even address the current spate of ever rising US mass shootings. Keep up the good work boys, because all you're doing is forcing a solution that you're not gonna like. As the old saying goes, you're either part of the solution. or you're part of the problem.

    When mass shootings become a bigger problem than gang and drug shootings, I'll start worrying about mass shootings instead.

    As to gang and drug shootings: ending the failed war on drugs and investigating/prosecuting recorded attempts of prohibited persons to buy firearms (10s of thousands every year) is where to start, not restricting legal/lawful gun owners.

    Then you're not paying much attention.

    An assault weapon is a designation of gun and there are people legitimately saying that you should not be able to defend yourself with a gun that fits that designation.

    you are not a one-man army because you have a rifle that makes the ignorant wet their pants.
