In science a hypothesis is a proposition concerning how something works. It is required to be falsifiable. That is, it has to be within the power of scientific method to demonstrate that it is false if it is indeed false. These odds calcuations for a process that isn't fully known along with currently limited knowledge of the size of this universe just don't comprise a falsifiable proposition.
